Dealing with zombies in this game, as it stands today is easy mode. its the pvp that brings that x factor. Its the adrenaline rush that being defenseless brings you upon spawn. That first frantic hour or two as you, against all odds, attempt to become self sufficient without being killed by zeds or players. If you just make this game about the zombies, ditching the desperate need to find a weapon, or to be careful around high traffic areas, what have you got? I don't think rocket's post applies here to be honest. The influx of players will be great, and those of us that have expeience with this game will reap the rewards for some time to come, but just for entertainment purposes, i don't think anyone is out of line in pointing out a farce when they see one. We are not obligated to like and support something we feel is disingenuous. By the same token, if anyone here has no problem with the "fixed game" approach, then you're entitled to that opinion. I personally wouldn't be interested in watching a basketball game where you automatically get 2 points on the other team just for dribbling the ball successfully, but that's just me. camp room 2 or 3 at night in low pop servers. hoppers tend to spawn in room 4, 1 or the bathroom. easy kills. its still risky because its impossible to completely safeguard yourself from a window attack or same room fluke, but its about the best you can do. Personally I like to camp stary sober when i'm running solo, again at night. waiting for server hoppers has become my primary focus.

i'm pretty cool with this idea. I was a victim of dc'ers twice yesterday, meaning they disappeared when i murdered them fair and square.

Hunting up north for well equipped foes all too often turns into watching your success melt into the ground, as yet another so-called "bandit" attempts to cheat death. loot hoppers maxed out preying on anything that comes from elektro manage to get a kill with a 203 after 9 minutes of shitting themselves. very impressive. The ghuillie suits were what put it over the top. only 1337 players can hide in open grass because they managed to horde a better skin than the other guy....just my 2 cents

you can get to a tree stand close to the coast in about 15 minutes. if you were under the impression the nw airfield is the key to survival, you're a moron. Your participation in DayZ isn't required. I heavily condone this behavior. I and my buds discovered it a few days ago. Stary Sober is also an ideal spot to set up on server hoppers. I got 2 last night. Last weekend, I jumped on, and was already positioned in the barracks. I tend to do this at night as server hoppers are drawn to empty servers. Next think i know, I hear crouch walking and a blue glow. Chem light. I must say i'm eternally grateful to the gentleman for giving me a visual cue as well as an audible one. Once he got to my room, 3 shots from 2 feet with my cco and he was fly food. He had a DMR and range finders on him. TLDR: Let the server hoppers do the work for you, and in return you get to teach them a valuable life lesson.
