I think that the idea is that your body disintegrates or rather just a less gruesome way of hinting that you are mangled beyond recognition so therefore your items are useless anyway. But with low key non-mushroom could-esque crashes maybe.

In the new SA, with new clothing items, I think different glasses should have functions. 1. Tactical glasses- We've all seen these right? But they're only asthetic in the mod but in the SA, with the possibility of a weapon malfunction, shrapnel and fragments can come off bullets or even the gun itself if the misfire is severe enough. 2. Sunglasses- Pretty straightforward I guess 3. Reading glasses (general glasses)- If your player has damaged eyes, maybe a misfire in a gun, flashbang?, headshot etc... your vision is blury until you find these. What do you think? Post your suggestions as well!

Boats right now are cool but verry impractical. Even the speedy PBX is impractical. I believe in the SA, we should be able to get larger boats and be able to walk around and shoot off boats (no moving around on PBX of course). This would add an entirely new aspect to the game and introduce a new form a banditry, piracy. Image seeing a house boat off the coast of Cherno right after a refuel. The boat spots you and tries its best to get away but you have a PBX so it's no match. The crew of the opposing boat line up to fire at you but you're faster and drop them while shooting off your boat. You hop off you boat into the water and board the boat, kill the driver, find the coward hiding in the cargo room, and finally loot the cargo and maybe have a new boat on your hands! Let me know what you think.

Yes I understand that that's why the driver of the boat can use strategy and cut off the other boat or just plain stop.

Fishing boats go about 15 kmh(?) and offer protection as they can go further offshore and won't get you sick. Swimming is deathly slow.

In standalone, Utes is coming as an explorable island and it has an airfield. But a little more on topic with the post, fishing boats are bigger boats and with this could come possible storage in the future as well as being able to walk around freely which would make you more versatile and able to raid coastal wanderers, other boats, venture to Skalitsky or Utes. Maybe the addition of a speedboat.

Shurikens... Just kidding! I think that with the new crafting system, melee can possible go to a whole new level with the classic nails-on-the-bat type thing.

You wouldnt see orange with the tac glasses just protction. Sunglasses would only slightly tint the screen and remove the effect of your eyes having to adjust to different light levels

I played on a server that had a base building mod (not dayz+) but it had visible landmines as body bags. Before i knew what was going in i was in a panic. It felt like the entirety of the cherno church was rigged to blow. It will prove interesting but be careful what you wish for.

Lots of topics on this already but i dont see this going in as a standard feature. Rocket specifically stated that the disorientation is all part of what he wants of the game. While i do like it, even side chat is pushing realism IMO

I downloaded dayz+ on commander to join a server but when i try to join the server it doesnt work

Regular dayz is up to date ArmA is up to date Dayz+ is up to date It tells me something went wrong and then it says "You are running 1.7.5.1 and the server is running 1.1.2" I know the 1.1.2 is the dayz+ version

You have some good ideas but some of them are already implemented like the Uzi is in the game as the PDW and an equivalent to the hunting rifle is a CZ550. Homemade pipe bombs sounds intersting though! Baseball bat sounds interesting but I think it wouldn't be too useful in PvP other than knocking someone out just in time to loot them and escape. Otherwise it would be pretty weak I think. I would like to see people being able to shoot out of helicopters like the AH6.

Rocket mentioned that he would like to explore the apocalypse in other countries like America. I would quite like to go to America in-game, I'd have a rifle, pistol, camo, and backpack in minutes.

You could bury a note with the person like "(insert name here) shot my dear friend so if you see him, please put a bullet in his face"
