Survivor's Diary Pt1 finding mountain dew ! Hey guy , i got bored and i decided to write a small and short story that i came out and how i first found my Mountain Dew. Please post some feedbacks thanks for reading guys :D It was a blistering afternoon as i made my way towars chernogorsk. I was forced to travel on foot for the past one mile ... Driving a vehicle would simply put me in a dangerous situation. With the god forsaken zombies and the unmerciful bandits , it would be mad for me to drive in there. I have heard of rumours where the large cities were hit the hardest and the fastest , the virus spread through the city like wild fire , not many men were spared. The view of the city was simply breathtaking but at the same time , the rotting flesh was unbearable I traveled from the woods into the industrial corner , before making my way to the center of the town. The walking deads filled the city , eating what they could savage , some were even trying to catch the filthy rats that once filled the sewers. Seems like they've got nothing to worry. The sight of them would make me puke. I decided to sweep from the west , following by checking out the medical hospital for some meds that my buddy could use. But it's getting dark soon , i should hurry and check for some foods that we could use. I managed to sneak past a horde of zombies before reaching the pub. Morphine ! It was a nice find , now i would no longer need to travel to the medical hospital. Traveling there is like a death trap. The sick and infected were packed in there... The healthy in there were as good as dead if they were trapped in there , u know .. Those that were in a coma. I decided to check the apartments above the pubs and lucky me , a mountain dew. These things are the rarest thing on earth now. I've heard about some stupid curse about the mountain dew. Yeah , some stupid crack nuts must have made up the curse. I pulled the tip of the can as it made a small insertion at the top of the can.. "Pissss..." As the carbon in the can made contact with the air. I sniffed the drink and took a sip... It taste fabulous. But at this moment , i heard a grunt " arrgh " i ran to the stair , and i saw a zombie approaching me. I retreated into a room near by and drew my pistol. I faced the pistol at the entrance as the zombie took a step closer to me. Footsteps were heard loudly along the empty hallway each time he took a step , it appeared as though there were more than one zombies approaching me. After what seems like an eternity , he started to appear across the hallway.I took my aim , held my breathe , pointing the zombie towards it's head. Perspiration fell down my cheeks. My heart skipped a beat as I pulled the trigger. "Bang" the zombie fell face first towards the floor. I took to my heels and ran for my life literally ... I ran so fast and hard that all i could remember was zombies screaming an what seems like an entire horde chasing me down. Thousand footsteps shook the ground behind me . There was no time to rest. I ran till my legs could no longer continue ... Just pass the barn before i reach my uaz. Now as i sit here , writing my diary i would like to jot down these memories ... Surviving in this wasteland will drive me insane luckily i got my friend with me. This trip was worth it , my friend is healed and the Mountain Dew taste Le wait for it... gedary ! --------------------------------------- Ps i know it isnt that good >.<

Totally true , havnt had a hacker script kiddy in my regular private hive since i started playng dayz

Public server i filled with hackers , its so frustrating , lost all of my gears my a script kiddie ... Havnt encounter any hackers in my private server though.

I would like to see Twinkies lol .. Rocket should add in Twinkies into the standalone game , just like the mountain dew and make it very rare. He could also add a real curse to the mountain dew and Twinkies and if the player is lucky , there will be no curse that will befall upon him but if he is lucky , God bless his soul... Say.. what do u guys think about this idea ? Lets bring back Tallahassee's favorite snack before they are never found again.

Go into li q gaming server :D no hackers and low amount of bandits and majority of the players got more than 3k of humanity and some got hero skin

It is possible to get over -100k humanity but it requires around 30 civilian kills or around 20hero kills ? Got -70k humanity on balota buddies server but i have another character with a hero skin on li q gaming server. If u want to gain humanity , the only way is to wait or u can go to hospitals and grt some medical supplies to try and heal people. Try getting a ghillie suit or camo clothing as u wont get spotted as a bandit

Download dayz commander , dont download sixlauncher. It sucks , i add a sever to my fav and it some times disappear for no reason. Dayz commander got more function too . If u are looking for server , type this in the search box of dayz commander : li q gaming And click and join the server. 90% of the players are friendly , havnt encounter any hackers but got some traitors and bandits. Admin dosnt anyhow ban people and is friendly . We got a friendly squard helping bambis and each other to find supplies. We do regular loot raids on major city like cherno . I have a hero skin and would help u if u are a bambi or if u need to build a base. Try it out, its 24hrs day

If u are looking for a private hive with lots of friendlies and no hacker and bandits , look for li q gaming . Lots of hero there including me, we are all bambi friendly and helps each other by geathering supplies for each other. Traitors get hunted down ...

Check i your ammo are in your bag , u cant use them if they are in the bag.

Musket should have a bayonet to stab players and zeds otherwise it would be too under powered lol , seeing a 250 years ols musket would be cool

Great idea but i think that zombies should be able to trip it instead of nomal players as zombies may not travel to certain place where a player might and it may ve a little too imba if it is only for players. Eg: place a few like in cherno market , main roads , church and medical tents and allow player to trip it but not zombies ... Zombies walk through them like nothing happens but when a player walks and trigger the trap , all hell break lose. Some players may misuse and abuse this system if u know what i mean and some players may prefer to use it to detect zombies etc etc...

Lol i got an idea , why dont they add in mating options where a female can mate with a male then they will produce a baby AI lololol

I have been playing as a lone wolf on a lot of the server 90% of the time when my squard is not on .. They are busy playing saints row and black ops 2... Playing alone gives the player a new experience , making u more aware of the current situation. It is more tense and decision making is harder too... Getting blood has been one of the buggest problem i faced. Had to take 40 canned foods suck just to return to full health. There is no one to share the joy with when u find something rare ... Thats the sad thing D:

The curse continues ... I went back to cherno to retrieve my gears , took my 10 stanga mags and gears. Few zombies were chasing me , ran to the docks , started shooting. Dc-ed at 10pm ... Returned back to the server 10 mins later. Started to bleed ... Zombies did not hit me be for that and my blood wars low... Used a bandage , saw 10 zeds following me around. Ran to a pub , found 5 .45 mags. 5+5=10 , had 10 pistol mags with me... Ate 5 canned food and 5 cooked meat. Too coincindental ? Beware of the cure! It follows you around for the rest of your life ... It sucks the jizz out of u ... WOooooOooo..... Wtf did i just say ?

Adding reserch labs and qurrantine zones in parts of the day map. Rocket can add these buildings in areas that require more experience and better gear to explore. These building can be entered and explore and would allow the player to get better gears or loots or even crafting materials. These areas will be filled with smokey clouds that will deal damage to players if they stay in the area for too long and the way to avoid health deduction is to wear a gas mask. These areas should have some really scary and dangerous mobs that will make the players scared but the reward may be greater and worth it. ( they can add faster mobs that deals more damage to players and they can have the ability to climb walls but they are sensative to lights , dealing damage to them when they are exposed to lights. During the day , sun light cannot penetrate the thick mist and there will be an errie atmoaphere in that area. ) They should add weapon customization or vehicle into the game and the parts can be found in some areas of the map. Loots in these zones should be rewarding as risking all of your gears to go into that area may result in death for the inexperienced. So what do u guys think ?
