I didn't know that I've never played Take on Helicopters so I wouldn't know really, I'm just going by previous Q&As and things I've read.

I think what the are saying is it will be better optimized because Arma 2 is CPU heavy, so I think with what they are taking out it'll help slightly but remember they've added a bunch more stuff in aswell. I will repeat what most people have already said that if you can run Take on Helicopters and DayZ already then people are pretty sure you can run the SA

I think if the SA was out then nobody would have time to even look at the forums, We'd all be discussing it in Voice over chat instead, all huddled around some camp fires cooking some food, having a drink or two discussing how wind direction works :P

DayZ is also up for four more awards at IGN AU's Select Awards.. - Best Original Game - Best Online/Multiplayer Game - Best PC Game - Game of the Year (Thanks to Hetstaine for the link) In my opinion it should win all of them, for me it's by far the best game in recent years. As for the awards just won, congratulations to all of the development team who have work so hard to make the mod happen and I'd also like to thank them for their continued work on the SA! Powell is right, Smasht seems to always have a link for every occassion.

I'm no guru but I will agree with you. the atmosphere isn't fixed to the earth but it's movements are effected by the high and love preasure on earth, which is also created by the hot air leaving the earth, I think. And going to sleep now. OH NOEZ! Please don't call them! I never actually saw that coming. B)

I am not 100% sure but I think in the northern hemisphere it blows to the right, and in the southern hemisphere it goes to the left and when they hit each other in the middle it pushes it outwards in a random direction, I think.

I don't get why people are being suck dicks about this at all. I mean they was there for personal reasons, not for business, does no one even know that gaming companies send out research teams to get facts and info on stuff not just military stuff either... You should just all be happy that two people that have been wronged are finally on the first step to fixxing this It saddens me to know how low some people can be and how selfish some of humanity is becoming.

I really hope the weather system isn't fixed and maybe we wind will have it's own map and contributing factors etc. I hope so anyway :D I read it once maybe twice, although I re-watch every Dayz video I can... xD

Hi my name is Toxiclegend, Toxic for short and I am a DayZoholic! *Waits for "Hello Toxic" and applause* Phew! That was hard to admit but I hope now I am on the road to recove........... Must resist, must resist, must resist, CAN'T RESIST!Anyway, I had several user names years and years ago on various games and things like AoE 2 and all the old fasioned stuff, which was always had some form of "Toxic" in them, finally when I had to pick a PSN account Toxic on it's own was taken, so I settled with Toxiclegend, and ever since I've been using it/variations of it for things like my producing name (Bedroom music producer) is Toxicology.

Ha! People just thought the world was going to end because the Mayan calander didn't go passed that date because they couldn't write out any more dates cause well they died xD How freaky would it be if DayZ released on that day and also most of the worlds population start to turn into these zombies! That After DayZ video would have been actual real life footage then ;)

Honestly though I'd like them to take their time :) That video was really awesome, they said in their making of video (Which I watched straight after) that they played it in the summer, I'm glad they liked the game and it inspired such a great short film. I really hope they do get to make a longer one, I'd fly to America just to be a zombie extra!

It's a bugger when that happens :P I've got a CD drive but it's not attached into my machine so I just link it up whenever I need it, which right now isn't alot luckily because I have no idea where it is as I just moved house!I think with regards to that movie which I've watched about 9 times already they should do a film, they should get intouch with rocket and do it :P I'd watch buy and go to the cinema to see that more than once I'm sure :P You know what I'm gonna message the guys :P

I agree, it looks amazing!As to the ragdoll, they are adding it in but I don't think they have it at the top of their list right now, I think fixing the zombies is maybe their top priority for now anyway. The game is looking awesome though from them screenies we got shown, can't wait till we can see a little bit of the game play :P I've been so excited abot this game, more excited than any other game I remember waiting for, so much so every game I try and play I turn off in about 5 mins cause I'm bored :P So I just roam the world wide web looking for more DayZ stuff to read on ha xD Oh if your making a cockney server I think you should make more than just "fuckin" maybe "guv" plus all the cockney rhyming slang, it's too long to list xD "Aye Aye guv, let's fuckin 'ave it sunshine!"

Well we all knew what I meant DVD Drives Blu-ray whatever :P But yeah some people still have CD drives in their rigs because they are running their back up PC so I can't play anything >.<

Haha! I'm gonna be a mass murderer then, I never did any father-son bonding! PLEASE SAVE ME! =[ People say that society is getting worse and worse you say 50 years ago during the cold war but go back even further maybe 200 odd years ago, you was trained to kill from the age of like 5 and war was just another day. So how are we getting worse? If you ask me we are getting better :) Well Mitcholas they've scrapped and redone the path finding and the animations for the zombies from scratch. So I really doubt there is going to be any major problems with being able to hit you from a mile away and the same as you are not going to be able to hide in a bush and not get hit anymore I'm pretty sure that's all been/being fixed as we speak. I didn't want to browse the forums either until Jack and Frankie stopped making DayZ videos and I had to get my fix from somewhere else xD I really wouldn't worry though the team are not going to disappoint anyone this game is gonna be the game of the centurary in my opinion.

Yeah there is more interaction in a game compared to movies, but the game in itself is telling the story and they have people who write a script etc just like a film, the only difference is the interaction but it's really not games that make people violent, it's their upbringing and a million other reasons, you can't blame a game for people doing bad things. If that was the case then where is the praise for games like Flight Simulator or Grand Tourismo that are classed as simulators and teach people things, granted GT isn't exactly life like, but you don't hear parents saying "My son played GT for hours and now he's a F1 Racing driver thanks to the game" It can't just have a negative effect, there is always a positive too. Parents are just looking for a scapegoat more than anything. I remember playing GTA 1 with my neighbour when I wasn't even 10 I asked my mum to buy it for me and she did, although she was skeptical at first we played it and I showed her that it's not as bad as they say, she didn't mind at all my 9 year old sister likes just driving around on GTA:SA we turn the volume down for the swearing but she can go beat people up or drive around, she prefers to drive a coach around and pick people up though. It's all stupid propaganda to spook people it's all fake and shit.

Try putting it in the CD Drive it might accept it then? :o!
