have they also included some way of maintaining your weapon? like cleaning kits, etc.

eh, it's possible, just don't think any kind of underground anything would be beneficial to the game, its a great idea on paper, but when applied it might have an outcome that is less than to be desired. just sounds like people would just make tunnels underground to each base on the map and farm loot all day. I really don't even like the tents in the game the way they are right now, they should be destroyed upon player death so there isnt this "respawn, run to tent, get everything you had before" type of thing going on. (sorry, off topic)

in my opinion your spawn should be completely randomized on the map, so you have no fucking clue where you are, they should even take out the location announcement when you first connect to the game.

easier way to identify hackers would be to add a mechanic where if they move an extreme distance over a very short period of time, say, faster than any vehicle in the game could take you, to automatically ban them. or to add a killed by *soandso* there are ways around having the admin know where everything is on the map, i've been in too many servers where the admin has the control panel map open on his second screen hunting down people in his own server. Its abused more than people realize. -
eve online has a server hive for their universe and it works quite well, maybe one of the devs should talk to CCP and get some input on this.

It does look a bit cluttered, I'de like to see an inventory where your tools are stored, and then a basic inventory where everything else is stored, i dont really like having two separate inventory area's for sidearm ammo and bandages, and then everything else, if we could just combine those into one large inventory. I think a diablo style inventory with an added section for tools would work well with this. along with a separate box on the right with all their (dead guy/ground) gear in it. If i may ask, what is the additional boxes with what looks like buttons even used for? it seems like additional space on the screen that could be used up by something more useful. -
please do, per your words, the game needs to be authentic, and having to actually aim down your sites adds an additional layer of realism. I highly support it.

my question is, what waterways, there are no rivers in chernarus, the only thing close to a river is at the northeast of the map and thats just an inlet.....unless chernarus plus has some rivers on it now. -

put all those empty whiskey bottles to use, allow them to be used one time to break over a zombie/survivors head. I can't tell you how many times i've ran into a building cornered by zeds and all i have is can's and bottles around me. -

yea, deadlight is a fantastic game, although short, it has a great ambience about it, and i know the highway stretch your talking about towards the beginning of the game, very eerie. -

Playing on Chernarus led me to a few different idea's for survival techniques that could possibly be implemented in game, let me know your thoughts guys.I watched a few video's where Rocket said he wanted to focus more on the Player versus environment aspect of the game, so here is my contribution towards that. Some area's of the map are pretty far away from water sources, and running around in a rain storm blinking on water led me to the thought. Rain Catch Make garbage bags and a bucket(or other device) a lootable item in the game, garbage bags can be used to make a rain catch. http://willowhavenou.../rain-catch.jpg There is an example of what im talking about. http://www.wildernes...net/water-2.php This link has some variations on a rain catch, above and below ground stills. You could also introduce water purification so you dont contract ghonociphoherpolaids or whatever. It would only collect a certain amount of water over time, maybe enough to fill 1 or two cantene's worth of water, and only when it rained in game. Animal Traps This one seems to have already been suggested and we would probably have to increase the variety of wildlife that is currently in the game, pigs, cows, and rabbits is all i've seen, not sure if you can kill birds or anything like that. http://www.wildernes....net/food-2.php There are a lot of different traps on that previous link, I won't go into explaining too much of it as this website does a very good job explaining each one. just a few thoughts on how we can improve the food/water procurement without going into towns, I believe when the zombie pathing and AI are improved the game will be a bit harder when going into towns because that zombie isn't going to go on a 10K in the opposite direction before turning to you. I believe they are also going to fix the bush/tree glitch so they dont instantly de-aggro you because your standing in a bush. This would be an added improvement in my opinion. There are a lot of other great idea's and proven techniques on this website in the previous links. Thoughts? This I thought about this idea one day sitting in electro being pinned down by a sniper, It would be a great idea. only thing though would be that you'de have to lose your backpack before you started doing it or your just a walking bullseye lol.
