okay I've played the game for over a month now. I have been a survivor then a bandit then a medic then a survivor once again. you will always have bandits there's nothing that you could do to change that other then to turn ff off. however doing so would make the game a lot less fun. to me i find that seeing people and seeing if they are friendly or not is all part of the game. if you want to die less head inland. I've gone like 17 days up there. the starting kit now is much better than it was before. and i hear that they may be add melee soon. so hold out and try and adapt to the changes.
I think this is taking realism too far. and there are plenty of threads about this already please use the search function at the top to see if you repeating the same idea. thanks
spawning without a pistol has made this game far more real. on the news feed the dev team said hatchets will be very useful and not just for copping wood so we may have an axe for melee soon. this is still in alpha and you have to learn to adapt. i haven't died once from a random bandit since 1.7.1 because most of the coastal cities are now friendlier because there's no start weapon. although its a little harder at first it will get easier once you figure out the LOS on zombies. run through and in-between buildings and you will be fine i promise even running through woods can get them off your tail now. just keep trying its a learning experience and you have to adapt i hope this doesn't get changed back. and i would rather start with no backpack or at very least the czech vest pouch which only has 6 slots.
actually i've seen more working together because of people not having weapons. i have even run into people with weapons but the zombies are much harder now so the don't shoot. i haven't got shot once since 1.7.1 so stop complaining. the problem isn't with what you spawn it's people like you saying im shooting people because i'm scared really? its a video game the only point to this game is to survive as long as possible. its inevitable that you will die.
