  1. There was no mention about the new animation system except some info about eating mechanics but i'm going to ask it anyway: what's the current status on the new animation system?
  2. My guess would be first experimental patch of 0.56 next week or after that week. Stable patch on 29th of April or 6th of May. These are just my estimates as there has been no official info except this tweet

  5. Now that we know cooking and gathering resources is confirmed to come in early 2014 to standalone what are your thoughts on cutting down a tree and how it should work. Gathering firewood in mod is kinda dull, just rightclick hatchet in inventory while being near a tree and firewood pops up in your inventory. I think in dayz epoch mod there is no tree cutting animation but atleast tree falls down so thats nice. Upcoming survival game called The Forest does it nice but dont know if thats possible in Real Virtuality engine. EDIT: Why cant i embed youtube link :(

  11. Its called negative mouse acceleration in DayZ and it cant be turned off. Its a feature for now. Negative and normal mouse acceleration are two different things.
  12. Rocket have you guys considered about adding @dayzdevteam twitter feed and patch changelogs to main menu of DayZ to avoid all misunderstandings. There is a lot of people who dont use twitter and it would lighten your workload. EDIT: I understand its not your priority #1 atm.
  13. Thanks for the answer. After i thought bit more about changing weapons while moving prone, i can agree its unrealistic.
  14. VictorKane animations looking GOOD in the standalone! Especially running animation is miles ahead of Arma 2 one. Now that you can switch weapons while running is already a big plus, how about switching weapons while moving crouched/prone.   21. Breathing sounds will be fixed in future for sure. Also i hope they tweak out that breathing particle when its cold. Its cool feature and i like it.
