    I'd get Arma 2. The standalone doesn't have a set date, and who knows how bare-bones it'll be in the beginning. Also Arma 2 has a lot of DayZ maps/mods.

    I know a guy that runs 40-60 frames with a 965. That's only a quad core. Have you tried with some FPS increasing tutorials? Also what are your start up parameters? I've seen people use the wrong ones, and mess up the cores on the CPU.

    Agreed. With a game where death sucks really bad, killing gets a huge reward. PVP can also be intense. No other game matches the intensity of the PVP. At least to me.

    All this talk of KOS ruining the game / Bandits playing the easy way. Me and my group just play like we would in real life. We let people go all the time, if they aren't a threat. If someone becomes a threat, we kill them. If you don't want to die, don't go to NWAF/Stary. Just yesterday I shot someone, and broke his legs. He agreed to drop the weapon. I came over transfused him, and gave him morphine. Although if I knew he had friends around, I would have killed him. If I wasn't there his loot run would have been boring. Now he has a story.

    The BMRF DayZero servers have public hive kinda. I think it's 2 servers per database.

    I play on a m17x r1. Nvidia 260m x2 sli, Intel core 2 duo p8600, and 8gb ram. 30-40 frames on DayZero. On a good DayZ server, 25-30 fps. Edit: Graphics: Lowest, 1920-1200 resolution

    Too long for every episode. If it is a on going series, I'd use it in the first episode. Then shorten it on the rest of them. Maybe use those awesome animated parts, and cut to game play of that episode for each intro. Edit: Forgot to say that it's freaking awesome. I love it.

    V sync. Turn if off. It'll cap you at 30 fps.
