Ye.....no. Running simulator is boring.

It's all opinion but I don't like night time because it's too dark and the small coned torch gives me a headache as do flares so speaking as a person who gladly uses the gamma exploit...it's because night is crap.

You can say all this as much as you like but from a gameplay perspective, night time in Dayz isn't fun if it were fun people wouldn't gamma exploit.

Vanilla has no flavour and can only be considered when there's no Chocolate :)

When Rocket said it's a flawed project he lost me and a quite a few people.

I did but I am honestly losing hope for this project regardless.

It's now time to scrap night time, if lights can go through walls then what's the point in working on making night better. I'm thinking this will be the first of many engine limitations in this flawed project as Rocket said himself.

I only play on day time servers anyway, my post is just the realisation of the situation. So either Rocket makes night time fun and not pitch black or people like me will use the gamma exploit.

Night time is too dark and if they remove the gamma exploit I'll just adjust my gamma in my nvidia panel.

I don't know if this is true or not bnut if it then it was a cool read. I never knew it took so much to build one. It makes sense that it'd take them a while to get used to creating them, whilst they learnt they probably used Spears which would surely be a lot easier to construct. invented*

There's nothing else to do, plus PvP in the mod was brilliant. I mean...you could go around eating berries and living in the woods but I can do that IRL.
