    It's not a pissing contest on who has been on the forum the longest my pedigree chum. It doesn't take a genius to notice that the zombies are broken in Dayz.

    If you can't see or understand why the zombies are so broken then you need to pay attention when you play Dayz. :)

    Nope I want them to stop trying to make the zombies a major threat in a game were they are quite clearly broken. The fact they can hit you whilst running from quite a distance, whether that is from behind you, side or front you get hit which results most of the time in you hitting the floor face first. Now also add in the fact you are likely to get infected then it becomes a problem. I 100% love the game of Dayz being a challenge but when all these things are combined the game is unplayable and definitely not fun. The thread I made explains why also. Broken as in clipping through walls to hit you, knocking you down, infecting you, leaving you to play Dayz Antibiotic quest. As well as other players aggro'd zombies hitting you because of this new mechanic.

    You can't actually be serious saying the the zombies in Dayz are NOT broken. They've always been broken and as you so elegantly put "fucked up", however their glaring deficiencies are painstakingly obvious since they can now hit you whilst moving, knocking you over and infecting you.

    Zombies need to be fixed. Zombies knocking you down every time they hit is too over the top Infections are too frequent. Zombies that are aggro'd to your buddy in front of you, hit you constantly as they're faster than you. Zombies hitting you when you're nowhere near them is ridiculous and unbalanced.

    Medical loot with the new patch is non-existant.

    The only thing bothering me is Zombies can now hit you as you run past them or they run past you, even when they are clearly too far to do anything to you.

    So nobody has any problems adding their custom buildings back onto 1.7.7? <_<
  17. We had 50 on a few minutes ago apparently. :lol: Hopefully a fix for the custom buildings comes about by tomorrow.

    Bump for this question. Also did they up the amount of zombie spawns?
  19. How can you tell from a few minutes of gameplay footage with AI squadmates. Also the only thing it has in common with Gears of War is the TPS and cover system.

    What I like the most about 1.7.7 update?

    I haven't played Dayz for a few days but if this is how it will be for a while then I'll keep the old update.
  23. It's likely been done to death, however I'll always agree that PvP is important and if this game was to nerf it drastically then i highly doubt it'd be as popular as it is now.
