    DayZ Mod 1.7.7 Patch

    I've experienced a backlash from the new patch from the majority of our regular players, some of them including me have stopped playing. We usually get 30-40 players but now since 1.7.7 we'll struggle to get 20. * [REMOVED] - Zeds will no longer spawn while in vehicles. I've always thought this was one of the major causes of FPS problems in Dayz. If we have 40-50 people online on our server and 10 of them have vehicles in which all 10 of them are in separate towns/cities then the amount of zombies sprinting simultaneously surely has to be one of the root causes of frame issues.

    Join the club. Most of our playerbase on Scorched Earth are getting the same issues. Obviously there are people like my friend Evilituon who have amazing PCs but even he noticed the frame rate issues 1.7.7 has. I can deal with zombies and infection rates despite them being annoying for me personally but FPS issues are as you said "borderline unplayable"

    Disappearing tents upon restart. Duping gear from tents after restart. Losing ammo when putting the weapon into your backpack.
  5. You should join our server, our admins (me and friends) play extremely fair added with a friendly atmosphere, it's actually a good place to play on. Details are in my sig.

    If they fix the tents, disappearing ammo, duping gear and FPS problems then sure.

    Then I'll also have to be blunt mate. The amount of people complaining about the zombies isn't by coincidence and the fact Razor is addressing these issues such as infection rate, zombie knock down rate (not in your post but a big deal for me is FPS problems) shows there are problems with these additions to the mod. Dayz has always been a challenge but when it seems like they're forcing challenges that involve the broken(IMO) zombies then it just becomes too much. Now I know people will jump down my throat because I've disagreed with not only you but the patch itself but it's genuinely how I feel and it seems a lot of others feel the same. As I said in my other thread. 'If these things such as infections/knockdowns/FPS can be tweaked for a better overall balance then the patch will be successful, however until then I'll just monitor my servers numbers and keep an eye out for a hotfix which I'm praying is around the corner.

  17. We've updated the server with the new patch yet we've had trouble implementing any custom buildings onto our server, which before 1.7.7 worked perfectly. We've removed them from instance building table and building table and re added them yet they do not appear.

    DayZ 1.7.7.Dev Bug List

    Server: 188.165.222.39:2312 -As seen in my sig- Beta patch: 103419 Our server had 30 players in where I'd say 90% were on the coast I was driving in a Hilux across the Vybor plains. I didn't have fraps on at the time but noticed I had really terrible frames which was then proved by fraps saying 15-20. My system isn't great but I usually get 45-60 out in these parts of the Dayz map. Server information: CPU (Processor):Intel Xeon E3 1245v2 (3.4+ GHz, 3.8GHz boost) RAM (Memory):32,768Mb (32GB) ECC DDR3 HDD (Hard Disk):2 x 120GB Intel SSD's RAID Configuration: Raid 0 Operating Systems: Windows Server 2012 - Standard Edition Network Speed: 100 MBit/s Uplink Port Included Bandwidth: Unmetered Location: Roubaix, France, EU It feels to me and many others that there has been a significant change in the amount of zombie spawns, now this may be a placebo effect from a new patch but more and more I'm thinking what I'm saying is correct. The previous patch didn't cause me FPS issues unless I went to the obvious places of Elektro and Cherno and to some cases, Berezino. I'm not really sure what else you'd need to know..

    Yeah there is quite a few people on our server saying the same about frames also. I'm not sure if the zombies numbers have been increased but there does seem to be significantly more. Come on at least be constructive. He has valid points and they're shared with quite a few people it seems.
