I actually think this will be one idea that will go in the game. Tents are too much of an eye sore and everybody knows every location. It'd be awesome to have to take EXACT coords of your stuff otherwise risk losing it.

What settings are best to have on IN GAME guys, Dayz Mod was very strange with higher textures meant higher frames, does this still apply to the Alpha? :) My system is a Phenom X4 965 GTX 660 (non TI)

I had the same issue also. I changed my character in the menu and my stuff didn't save. My friend disconnected from our server and when he came back he was a freshy. -

I'm enjoying it, found an M4/Gas Mask/backpack but then my character got deleted :(. I have pretty much the same gear right now so hopefully when I log back in I still have my stuff. I don't however like the new compass, it seems too fiddily just to check where I am going.

I'm so exhausted from my little few hour play through, met a guy and then a little group of survivors, all seemed friendly. We were in Cherno just scavenging when one of them got shot right in front of me, turning my light off and hiding in a corner I sat for a few minutes...nobody speaking in direct. Terrified I ran away through the forest. I just ended my little session with an M4, 35 slot backpack and a Gask Mask. My god is it good to be back!!

I went to watch the Wire, came back and the December round up thread had two extra pages so I was like "no...way, can't be" Then I seen Smash saying it was out. Then I lost my shit. -
My first was friendly too, he was new to the game as a whole. :wub: He may have died, I wouldn't know though as I ran away like a coward hahaha.

I too wish it wasn't so dark, however it has been terrifying wandering through Cherno seeing other flashlights every now and again.

All the servers are dark, would they be running off of GMT for me since I'm English? Also the torch seems to be way off to the left and cannot be aimed, help? :)
