How many sales in a certain time period does it require to be the 3rd best seller? :huh: The devs must be happy with the sudden boost in sales out of nowhere and it's all because we wanna survive a zombie apocalypses. It just also happens to only be an Alpha zombie apocalypses. Can you imagine how many more copies would sale if a major gaming site featured this mod and told everyone about this? I would never be able to get into a server again. :( Heck, I only found out about this mod from I was browsing the forums on Gametrailers when I was bored and a guy posted some videos of the game. This was the thread - http://forums.gametrailers.com/thread/arma-2-persistent-world-zombie/1286326 (it has since been updated). I bought this game, just for this mod. -

I think the humanity system is a bit silly. It doesn't do anything except give you better camouflage when you are killing people. I say get rid of humanity and let people select from a menu on how you want to look. When everyone looks different (for the most part) it will be that much harder to tell who is good or bad just by looking at their appearance. For example, as a survivor, I spawn wearing the default skin with a brown vest and blue pants and other times I have a black hat, shirt, vest, and forest green pants. I prefer the black outfit, but it's random if I get to wear it when I enter a server. I just think this would give people a little bit of customization and you wouldn't be able to judge a book by it's cover. -
I don't believe in killing someone who has spent hours looting and building up their inventory. I never reveal my position, but if I see someone, I will question them. I wait for a reply and sometimes they do reply. Other times they ether can't read English or they're just being really rude. Yes, asking if they are friendly is silly, but everyone I have met has stayed true to their word, even bandit skinned people. However, I am more cautious with them. I even try to help people when I can. Give them water and food, medicine, or meat. I believe in helping people rather than killing them. I'm here to loot and explore. If I wanted to kill people, I would go play BF3 or any other game out there. I'm here to experience an open world zombie game, not kill people.

If there were camps, that would take a lot of planning. I do like the idea of a lock box that only you could access. I could store extra maps, compass, watch, knife, matches, binoculars, etc. All that stuff that I really care about. I find so much food that I really wouldn't need to store that. -
So pretty much what you are saying is that everyone has to kill each other for tension. Every time I see someone, I should shoot without warning just so the game will have more excitement. I should kill him, take all his stuff and tell him to piss off when he complains and taunt him for not being able to fight back. We shouldn't be scared to walk up to another human. I shouldn't have to worry about crossing the street. I've had chances to kill people, but I give them a chance and don't shoot since they are just trying to have a good time like me. If you have to have everyone shooting each other for excitement, this isn't the game for you.

I support this idea or at least non-pvp servers. Bandits just like to say "this isn't the game for you", but really it isn't a game for them. That's like saying they should take pvp out of MMO's because it's meant to be a pve game. Some people prefer not to fight others. It's not about shooting other people, it's about surviving and getting better loot. I shouldn't have to fear for my life when I enter a city because some coward wants to kill me for my items. I have enough trouble with running into a random zombie and than having a horde on me. I shouldn't have to disconnect from a server when a guy from an unknown location starts shooting at me. I worked for my stuff and they shouldn't be able to kill me for my loot. I want to enjoy the experience of looting town and walking around the world. I don't want to be scared to move from a building because I found an Alice pack and a map. Another things bandits like to say is, "in a real zombie apoc, people would kill each other". No they wouldn't, they would help each other survive and if there were murderers, survivors would kill them, problem solved, no more murderers. I would like to see a pvp flag system, a non-pvp server (which would always be full), or a server with no pvp, but twice the amount of zombies. @Bernardusaurus. You could always stay flagged for pvp. Everyone gets what they want.
