    Six laucher... Useless

    After you get the updater configured, it's quite handy. Just couple clicks and every mod that you have installed is updated if needed. Very good way to install arma 2 mods. The launcher is useless i agree. I use this launcher to get in to game http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8241

    Best software to record gameplay

    Im using msi afterburner for overclocking and monitoring stuff. It comes with a video recorder too which is handy. Not sure about codec options.

  10. Yeah this is pretty cool. I have actually done couple cherno runs and visited all significant places while encountering other players and didn't fire a single shot because of this. I'm sure that i was lucky but when you get them talking, your likelihood of staying alive grows considerably.
  11. Maybe you just cant hear/see the signs if you are bandit and your "friends" are bandits.
  12. Yes Usually i find a new weapon way before i really have use for one. Also the "pregame" when you spawn is kinda boring so this would give it a kick.
  13. Yes This would probably increase the success rate for teaming up with other players. Especially the ones who are not just spawned.

    Agree. I think the problem with this is to do with implementation. I would guess the reason why zees spawn near towns is that the game doesn't track them when there are no players around and instead despawns them to save on resources. I could be wrong though. If this is the case i guess you could workaround by spawning zombies nearby gun shots based on some probability. Nice thought. I was also thinking that gunfights should get those zombies moving even if there really is not actual zombies spawned already in the vicinity of the players. Like you said, the solution could be that every louder sound you make might spawn a zombie or ten near you by a chance. I remember like situations in Walking Dead where the protagonists go to a seemingly empty area and start making a racket or fight against each other. Then out of nowhere, walkers! This would also really fit in the game theme.

    I don't think that telling someone that you are friendly and then shooting them in the back counts as "social engineering". It's just being a dick :p But these different social situations that happen in game are always fun.
