This is the exact same build I started with except used the Sapphire OC version of that graphics card. Likewise I looked at upgrading the CPU and went to an i5 2500k (2nd Gen CPU) and it was a good decision (great increase in fps AND I could actually use stuff like Fraps)! This motherboard supports up to 3rd Gen cpus such as the 3570k so you shouldn't have a problem as mZLY said.

I suppose as well hackers don't usually script an M24 in for example and tend to favour the classic AS50, so if you removed it, it'd probably be pretty obvious who was hacking if someone turned up with one. Though the argument FOR those sort of weapons may be that they were left behind by Western militaries that tried to intervene in Chernarus? However I do agree that more Eastern Bloc style weapons should be used as they're in pretty free flow around the globe never mind the old Soviet Bloc, although Chernarus is actually based on a real life part of the Czech Republic, a NATO member, with a largely Western and domestic supplied military. Overall though I say get rid.

MIRROR 1 -Origins 1.61 - Download the new origins update from here. Follow these instructions: Make sure you have the 103419 update for Arma Beta 3. I think a big refugee camp would be awesome, far up North and pretty isolated but just a sea of tents, with medical supplies, the odd weapon, vehicle etc. But it had to be left quickly so is bit of a scene of chaos. Obviously it's not a huge structure, but would ARMA be able to handle a huge structure? I think it would be a good alternative to the airfields. I like the underground idea, but I think it's just a bit far fetched.

Me and my friends went to the NW Airfield on a server that had a plentiful supply of planes and most people had very good loot and this is just a short video of what went down. Any tips on editing etc would be very much appreciated....

I have just been playing on server UK410 and as I approach a couple of players laid out in the middle of the airfield my FPS drops from 75fps to a mere 6/7fps and my ping goes from 19ms to 180+! Is it possible that some people are able to make the game lag for other players at their own discretion? I found it impossible to aim, and I was absolutely defenseless so I will admit it...I combat logged, and I never usually combat log unless it's blatantly obvious the guy is hacking, but it was hugely suspicious two guys just laid their with a Humvee and a little bird and their AS50s as if it was nothing, and as soon as I approach unseen, and from behind...BAM lag, lag, lag.

Hello, I apologise if I have posted in the wrong place, please move my post if I have. I have built my own pc for gaming, on a pretty tight budget of £300, I did it and now I have some spare cash and I've purchased an intel i5 2500k (I've heard good things). The original specs you need to know are: intel G850 2.9GHz (stock cooling) sapphire radeon hd7770 OC 1GB 6GB Ram OS win7 64bit MOBO - MSI H61M-P31 (G3) Now my specs are: intel i5 2500k 3.3 GHz (cooler master hyper 212 evo fan) sapphire radeon hd7770 OC 1GB 6GB Ram OS win7 64bit MOBO - MSI H61M-P31 (G3) I have also bought a new cooling fan as I intend to overclock and would like to avoid frying my cpu as much as possible. I think now the weakest part of my build is the motherboard itself, from what I understand it is not built for any sort of overclocking, it was just a cheap and cheerful mobo to get me started on! What would be the best BUDGET option motherboard for a poor student who would like to OC his new CPU? Thanks in advance

I was in the firestation tower at the NWAF on my 29 day guy with zombies coming up the stairs, at some point I must have pressed F because unbeknown to myself, I had equipped a grenade. I found out I equipped the grenade when I tried to shoot and my guy threw something. There was no escape.

Updated last night to the newest version of Day Z, now EVERY SINGLE SERVER I have tried to join since then has been unplayable. Prior to the update I had ping on DE,NL,UK,FR servers of about 13-21ms, now I have ping of 1500+ms. I have used pingtest.net and tested multiple EU servers and my ping is always sub 30ms. I have filtered servers, reinstalled the update, updated day z commander, etc etc. but nothing is working at all. The game starts of fine for about 3 seconds as if it was playing normally, thenall of a sudden my connection has a breakdown and becomes so laggy it is unplayable. My friends who live under 10 miles away with the same ISP have no problem what so ever. Just finished my January exams as well so now is prime Day Z playing time...someone...please help me.

Probably the hotfix, unless I was VERY unlucky with my server choices...

Ah ok well that's one thing cleared up at least I did notice that happened a few times before actually, though it's a shame that I actually do get about that much ping when I join anyway!

Yes I've seen that a lot of people are having issues with servers after the update. In Day Z Commander I can see that the ping is say for example 20ms on some servers, but when I select it, it shoots up to 10000ms!
