    I observe from a safe distance or from prone then move on once they've passed by. I still haven't killed another player and I've been killed only once, in the hosp in Electro or maybe Cherno I'm still kinda new here. I have cursed myself...

    I spawned near what I would later learn was a construction area in Cherno and was greeted by another new spawn who was AFK on the beach. After attracting zed attention he appeared to return and took off running west into town. I headed towards construction and found myself a hatchet as I attempted to leave the area I found a long field with zeds all over it and a hill on the treeline. I decided this was my escape route and crawled up to and eliminated every zed on my way across. 3/4's of the way to freedom a guy called out over direct that he had watched the whole escape and took to yelling "Bazinga" everytime I popped up to kill a zombie. He later explained in side chat that it reminded him of a scene from "The Big Bang Theory" where a character crawls through a ball pit only to jump up and yell "Bazinga". I didn't get it but everyone else laughed. That escape cemented my love of Hatchets.

    Ran off the coast after spawn since it was a killing field, 30 mins in and after more barns and towns then I'd ever hit I had found not one weapon. I spotted a deer stand off in the distance, snuck up and found an M1014. Finally glad to have anything I moved off west and found a barn hoping to find food. Instead I found a crossbow, CZ and Hatchet. Damn you DayZ, damn you.

    If you don't mind Americans I would love to join a group, I actually haven't killed anyone yet (I prefer to hide or book it) so I think I can meet your standards. It seems the group is invite only, if you don't mind adding me my Steam name is Bloodtrozorx.

    I haven't killed another person in Dayz or been killed yet, I've watched some players from the trees but I've never seen a reason to pull the trigger on them, even the bandits. I guess that makes me just a survivor. Of course I haven't gone back to a city in awhile, I'll probably get shot as soon as I stick my head out.
