I had some footage of me approaching Green Mountain on foot and finding no Zombies on the summit. Just nothing, nothing at all but silence. The footage was just me arriving, looking about and running off scared at the lack of anything. Even a zombie would have been a comforting sight, instead I got nothing but the sound of flies and my own thoughts. Damn Green Mountain.

Whole server's legs break

Be that as it may there was no call to jump to assumptions about the OP's server. Applejaxc assumed the nature of the server and as a result proved the concept of the statement, "Assume makes an ass out of you and me" -
Zombies ignoring/not attacking

I joined a server about a week ago, everything was normal until I snuck up on my squadmate and was shot in the face. I died but instantly respawned standing on my own corpse with no gear. From that moment on I was invisible to zombies, they could not see me. I drew no aggro, I was never attacked and firing my pistol drew no attention from them. I reported it to the admin and was told that he had no idea and to run with it. He assumed it was server lag and wasn't properly receiving my position data. It could have been just that, or YOU'RE A GHOST! -
Question about non Chernarus maps

Second. I love Lingor. The jungles around the northern area, the desert area around the southern airfield. There are so many dynamics to consider and so many hiding places. My only complaint with Lingor is the rocks, I know the rocks on Chernarus can be deadly but the rocks on Lingor are actively trying to kill me. -

You brave, brave man. OT: i ran into a survivor near the Hospital in Cherno last night, he saw my hero skin and asked if I was friendly. I confirmed that I was friendly and gave him a transfusion. My reward was an empty whiskey bottle to the face, a bullet in the leg and a smoke grenade thrown on my now prone body. Worst dance party ever. -
But why?! This thread is good fun.

I was moving east along the treeline just north of Cherno when I heard faint AK fire from the north, being a hero I went to investigate. A death message pops up as I emerge into the small clearing and I see one survivor running over to and dragging another survivor towards the trees across the clearing. I steady my AKM and fire, dropping the "killer". The quotation marks are required since before my arrival the downed player had been attacked by a bandit, whom the other survivor had killed. I killed a savior thinking myself a savior. I was not proud of myself.

A 2 hour crawl from Vyshnoye to Cherno where I found an empty Hospital and then another hour towards Elektro before being hit by a party bus playing "Gangnam Style" over direct. -

I told this story in a previous thread but...I was headed west outta Cherno in my GAZ when I passed the gas station on the right a fresh spawn ran out in front of me. He crossed the road headed towards the coast and I used alt to follow him in first person. Then I realized there was someone in front of my car...a bandit with an axe. Bandit vs. Speeding car ended badly for him. The fresh spawn explained the bandit had chased him out of Cherno so I told him he could have all the bandits gear and a ride to anywhere. -

I'm 27 and people online make me feel too old. You're not too old to play games. I never understood my father's favorite saying til I was the "old" guy in the server. "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill" which goes a long way in DayZ. -
Sometimes you can have just as much fun broadcasting their location and saving some lives. maybe while drawing another bandit/sniper to the area to enjoy the party. Otherwise kill them and heal the victims.
