There would be alot of survivors walking around talking into their radios...just imagine having someone near you talking on a cell phone. Now put that person in Cherno chattering over direct to himself. Funny but ultimately annoying.

Ahh but a vocal minority can dictate policy. Look at America, a huge country where 73-76% claim a certain Religion yet feel as if there is a "war" against said religion due to a vocal minority. Look at DayZ now, you claim that 1.7 million players are satisfied with the AS50 and M107 as is and yet "100 Whiners" can dictate the removal of said weapons. If you want change you have to be vocal my friend.

I get enough wanton murder in every other game, in this one I can be a hero. Why should I regard every human as a target when I'm busy ducking the infected ones already? I enjoy the human interaction and talking to people. Yes I've met my share of people who like you believe that a game is only fun when being "sociopathic". Still I have healed those people only to be shot in the face. Can you even go a day being "goody goody" or hell have you even tried?

They want you to engage your target...in conversation. Talk to them and work out a situation where both of you get the gear you need. If the individual is hostile then you must kill to survive but what if they are friendly?

Sorry. :( I don't know what will happen after the SA release, I've never been a situation like this and I imagine not many of us have been. I've come to enjoy the posts on here, reading the stories, watching the interaction. I hope it continues but I doubt these will become the official forums for the SA. I'll still be here though, I rather like it here. -
The Hero Skin [Current behaviour?]

I spend most of my time (when I can play) running around and offering aid. I've killed those whom I witnessed killing others and I've healed bandits in need. I've since lost my hero skin and while the skin is a nice little perk I think you're worrying about it too much. Just by it's nature being a hero is dangerous and you put yourself in dangerous situations, sometimes the bullets fly. Just get out there and help people. -

Remove the .50 because it is not a reasonable and appropriate weapon in a world of sprinting murderers who are attracted by noise. The only American weapon that even approaches the iconic level of the AK and it's offspring is the M1911 pistol.

Everybody is fighting over .50 cals and I'm just sitting here with my AKM. Personally I love long shots and sniping...at the range. In game it's just so easy with a .50. No wind, no bullet drop(Ok, alittle) and no skill. Just wait for your target to stop moving for a second and give them a swift end. I understand the removal in terms of mechanics and besides it's pretty hard to yell "friendly" over direct from 700m out.
