That's just the way we like to play. It's not for everyone, I get that. We are focused on PVP, so starting with all the gear makes that more fun for us. Plus the AK isn't the best gun, so there is incentive to work together and find better gear. Plus, even though there are a lot of vehicles, there are only so many SUV's and other good ones. So you find one and then protect it. It gives the game more of a challenge for us.

I'm usually on every evening, along with a couple other people. We actively monitor the server for hackers, and would love to have some more people playing on the server with us. We are running the Taviana map, with a private hive. We've got Gotcha running on the server to help prevent hacking. You spawn with everything you need for a good PVP fight. We have tons of vehicles and helis (seriously, like 5 helis at each airfield, and more in random fields) all over the map, so you won't get stuck running everywhere. I even finally figured out how to spawn the Osprey and Apache, so I have a few of those scattered throughout the map as well. This is a PVP server, so be prepared to fight and die. The best part, though, is that you can hit the ground running once you respawn. Hopefully you guys will join in and have some fun. I hope to see some new names in the player list!

Can you confirm if the taviana.com version is available via HFB? I'm currently hosting with DayZ.ST, but they seem to have nothing but problems, and the admins are less than helpful. If you guys have Taviana support, I'll probably move my server to you.

It means you can talk in side chat, we won't get pissy if you find our base and destroy everything, etc. I've played in too many servers where the admins were above reproach. If you found their base they would ban you. Also, there are a lot of servers that complain about people blowing up cars, etc. We don't do any of that. We are fairly active admins and won't tolerate hackers, but we will let you play the game however you want. If you come in and wipe out our base, kill us, and take everything we have, then good for you. That means you rock, and we need to work on our game. Let me know if you have any other questions.
