This is a story i am starting that is written from the point of view of a survivor in the province Chernarus. i will release the parts one by one starting with the backstory of the survivor named Phil Leon, so here it is. (there is also a picture of the journal with the writing in it, its just for dramatic effect lol) Back-Story My Name is Phil Leon, And this is my story. On my way back to my hotel I noticed an old friend Joe who had moved here to Russia years ago. I pulled over to reminisce old times with him. He invited me back to his place for a drink. We joked and laughed about the old times in the corps. It left me speechless to find out our old commanding officer was dead from radioactive poisoning. He let me sleep at his place to save me an extra 4800 rubles. The next day him and his wife treated me to a breakfast at the fine Cafe Pushkin in Moscow. On the way back we stopped at Sgt. Steel's grave so I could say my goodbyes. I wanted to know more about what happened to him so I talked to Joe. He told me he used to work at a tourist attraction in a place called Chernobyl, where a nuclear reactor had exploded there. He said it was closed within hours. The sarge went there about a year ago to check the place out, he was always the adventurous one in the platoon, but he didn't come back. They sent a rescue team in. The team only found his lifeless body that had seemed to been eaten down, supposedly by radioactive bacteria, but Joe didn't seem to think so. I had taken my leave at Joes house and as I was saying goodbye to his family. He handed me a pager and said, "if this goes off, go to the dock over there and look for a guy named Nikolai Rusakov.
