Bonfire, buying bases and 'rules'
MrMerc replied to jdz (DayZ)'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Yeah only thing bad about that is the rules on bases, that is awfully sissy-like. They paid for it and like Jesus said it was a private server... -
There's an admin somewhere laughing endlessly :D

What if you care to share? Is sharing caring then? Or is it possibly just having the opinion of wanting to share.... On the other hand what if you share to care? You attempt to share simply to get a rouse of apathy within yourself.... At what point does sharing indeed become caring Krihileon? Hrmm...... Philosoraptor....

Where will you take a dump in the Standalone?
MrMerc replied to pr3llox's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Right infront of an unlooted tent. Just to show I could have taken everything but instead left a welcome home present. -
Originally mine was just plain old Merc, got it playing BF1942 and would "sub" in for several clans when they were short on practice or matches. Became known as the Merc. Eventually in a clan of my own for BF:V the clan mates would call me that crotchety old man. So I picked up the "Mr" to my name.

I posted this yesterday in another thread but it just so happens to be my first kill(s) as well andddd I'm not retyping the whole story. So there I was, in Cherno, minding my own business when over direct a group of Medics(4 guys) asked if I wanted to team up. (It was more along the lines of, "Were going to pick someone up, friendly or die.") So I join them and they have me dump all of my eqpt and haul jerry cans to a heli they had hidden off in the boony's. Once embarked on the helicopter we fly to their friend up north. We land and go to heal their buddy when out of nowhere someone snipes our pilot, firefight ensues and we win. (Now me and 3 guys) At this point there is mass VOIP chatter about no one knowing how to fly and 'this helicopter is too valuable to let some half-way pilot fly' blablabla... and we need to get to the pilot who was all the way across map. I chime in and claim I can fly great, ill pick up my gear they had me drop and then go pick up the pilot. After a lengthy persuasion they agree so I get in the chopper, load everyone up and tell them to load in gear, we take off and I head towards the pilot. We find the pilot running along the coastal highway and without hesitation I nosedive the chopper into the ground within eye sight of the pilot. I promptly told/taught them a lesson in kidnapping and proceeded to be hunted for the remainder of the night.

MrMerc replied to ChillPhill's topic in Clan / Group Recruitment
I'm in the central TZ but work 3-11pm on weekdays, any problems there? (Feel free to message me so-as to bypass flooding this page) I would have asked on TS but no mic just yet. -
The dumbest/funniest things you've seen in DayZ?
