DayZ Name : Sir Thomas How long have you played DayZ : I have played DayZ for two days, and I've just gotten killed by a bandit for the first time. After I felt the frustration of being a lone survivor; I decided that I'd like to join a group. Time Zone: UTC -5:00 Will you stay loyal to our group?: Yes, I will. What is your primary role requested?: (I.E. Sniper, Medic, Engineer) I would like to be scavenger or guardsman. -
That would be lovely. Also, I played last night and died once, and I played to-day and died four times from either getting eaten or falling. I've only played on vanilla servers, but I will try Epoch for a few minutes and see how that is. I've yet to find any vehicles, however, I found some guns -- but I lost them after getting eaten alive. Where might I find good weapons and vehicles to keep me alive longer, kind sir?

I have just bought ARMA II: Combined Operations, and I'm going to play DayZ once it is finished installing, before I play; what should I know regarding my future adventures in the zombie infested land of Chernarus?

Thanks, I wasn't expecting anyone to be that helpful. I'm guessing hacking must be pretty common on DayZ?

I plan on building my own pc soon, and afterwards getting Arma 2, and downloading DayZ. Can anyone give me tips on what to do as a beginner, and most importantly what not to do? After reading some forum posts, and watching several videos, I've learned a few things: Stay out of Cherno and Elektro, and don't trust anyone. It doesn't really give me high hopes of survival, but I'd like to stay a lone wolf anyway. Lastly if I'm first starting out, where can I find weapons and ammo?
