Grenades, M107, As50, the M240, probably, the Mounted guns on the Mi7, The Hatchet, and more, I'm sure. It would add a cool effect to the game, but I wouldn't want to see it banned for other countries.

Standalone - handedness possibility

Now that's a cool idea. However, it would also affect other things, like grenades, writing, melee, so it might take some work. I'm part left-handed, but I'd still choose right handed if given the option. What about a small chance of having your character spawn ambidextrous? I do agree that the As50 and M107 don't really fit with the atmosphere of the game, and as others have said, I would prefer an emphasis on more soviet-era weapons. However, I think any weapon should be a one-shot kill (Or a delayed kill), as long as it hits a vital organ. Large caliber weapons would be easier to one-shot with, but I'm sick of unloading several clips of makarov bullets into someone just to watch them run away.

Well, that's kind of the point, you don't know. If you could say to someone "Don't worry, my screen is already dark gray", then it wouldn't be any different than having a timer. It could make epi-pens a little more important. -
We've seen several screenshots of Chernarus+, and unfortunatley, it looks like it is not going to happen anytime soon. But, you always have the modder maps, like Lingor, Panthera and Namalsk.

I agree with what other people have said, I'm not a big fan of the humanity system. Especially since so many people just KoS bandits without a second thought. Although, DemonGroover makes a good point, it could work if it's very subtle. -
Ability to be able to shoot out of cars

A very astute observation. Does that mean that in a life or death situation, you wouldn't use your gun against attackers in a high speed chase? Look on youtube, you can see police officers pointing assault rifles out of car windows. I've read stories of soldiers firing M4s out of little birds. You need to give a better reason for this not to happen than stating the fact that this isn't a game about beating up hos and shooting cops. -

Actually, most of us start with a regular baseball cap, because we have low-res textures. That and a plain, tan baseball cap don't seem like something that would shout 'DayZ fan' when worn in real life. -
At first, I thought this was a little silly. Things like tracking devices and knockout gas seem out of place, like 'Why the hell would you find these in some backwater, former Soviet country?'. Although, after thinking about it, it is possible you could find some sort of tracker that someone would put in a dog collar, in case the dog ran away. I do, however, still see a couple of problems with this. A device like this would probably use a satellite, and I'm not sure they would still be up in this situation. Also, upon finding a tracking device on you, why couldn't you just smash it? It might be better to safely remove it, place it somewhere, and set a trap, but if you didn't have the tools, that wouldn't mean there's nothing to be done about it. All in all, I still think it would seem a little too 'Hollywood'. As Maze said, I don't really think it's suitable.

No to the respawn bunkers, for reasons mentioned by others. I don't think group spawning/respawn penalties should be implemented, either. The group indicators, I don't know about. That is one way to make up for recognizing people. I think it would be better if characters were just able to look more distinct, so it would be less artificial, more natural. Everything else I like, like food being rarer (although not too much rarer in homes and markets). Honestly, why are the zombies carrying cans of beans? Why would people have that on their person? As for 3, I agree, and I'd say players should start with absolutely nothing. Maybe a watch, or other things that most people carry. -
Actually, after thinking about it, this may be a way to make this game more about the zombies again, and less 'Deathmatch with zombies". If they were such a big danger, people MIGHT want to group together. But then again, it might not have that effect. I wouldn't want being hit by zombies to be a definite/probable infection chance, though. Maybe it only has a chance when they make you bleed, and even then it's only 1/qo or 1/20 chance.

Missile-Shooting tires? Hell yeah! But anyways, these are some good ideas, but I agree with what beast101 said about increased tire spawn rate. Maybe without a windshield, you could have a chance of getting hit by debris, and your temperature drops.

Maybe a low quality cellphone camera too, if the phone still has a charge.

As far as I know, the survivors are all immune, and there will be no special zombie types in the standalone.

This may be a month old thread, but I do think it deserved the bump. It didn't really get a lot of attention, and I think it would be a FANTASTIC idea. A movable home? Hell yeah.

Suggestions or Questions regarding DayZ Standalone

I don't think amphibious vehicles would be common enough to be in the game. The same with submarines, as Dancing Russian Man said. Diving would be nice, and in my opinion, shooting out of vehicles is a must-have. But instead of having a restricted field of movement for the weapon (which is seen in games like bf3), I'd like to be able to aim the weapon out of and into the car, so you could shoot the driver/passengers if you wanted to. There could be an option to partially climb out of the car to get a better field of movement for the weapon (maybe with the risk of falling out?). -
Damn, this was hard. I was able to make my five choices, but here is a list of the 5 things on the survey I would least like to see in the standalone. -Spectator mode (WAY too easy to abuse) -Trading system (No need for this, it would just be artificial and restrictive, when we can already trade things without one) -Flippable Vehicles (Unless it is the bike, or MAYBE the ATV) -Tranquilizer rifle(I'd prefer a different method of knockouts, these would be very dangerous to use against humans in real life) -Elektro power station (Seems way too unlikely, wouldn't that kind of building rely on a huge infrastructure? Not an expert, so correct me if I'm wrong) and an honourable mention to the scopes/binoculars reflections (unless it's VERY subtle, only at the PERFERCT angle, and only with low-end scopes and binocs that don't have anything to act against glare) Also, I would only want to see the armbands if you actually had to find a suitable piece of fabric, and the means to customize it. Everything else, hell yes. EDIT: I forgot to mention, the 'ammo less rare' thing would be cool, but 'guns less powerful'? A makarov already takes 10 shots to kill, there should be quite a few more places that are an instant/quick kill, and many more that are very likely a mortal wound. However, 10 shots to the foot, or something similar, should not kill, unless it is by bleeding out.
