Kill count is a bad thing because you don't have to confirm that you've killed someone. Takes out part of the mystery and suspense, and I think the debug monitor should be removed, because you wouldn't just know things like that unless you kept track.

That doesn't matter. Everything I said still applies. At least with helicopters there are reasons why a civilian could fly one. And why do you want it to be more military? How about fighter jets next?

No, it really doesn't. It doesn't matter that there would still probably be a few functioning tanks in a situation like this, but no civilian would be able to drive it and in game it would be absolutely ridiculous. You could basically kill everyone in the coastal cities with little to no danger. Another big no to that. I don't think the .50s should be in the game, but if you bring them down to a two shot kill, then you're implying that these guys can take more punishment than a spartan from the Halo series. Next we'll be adding energy swords and banshees. Actually, that sounds delightful.

Suggestion (Natural Disasters)

Heavy storms and blizzards would be sufficient. Reduced visibility, maybe slower movement in the direction of the wind, small debris, but I think flooding would be really hard to implement (Correct me if I'm wrong). -

I think that just banning someone until their body disappears would be sufficient. No looting your own corpse, and you wouldn't know where everyone from your past life is. -

A lot of people are saying that they want everything to be player driven, which is good, but this is really just adding a cool element to the already existing heli crash sites. It's a good idea. And, someone said there would need to be something that brought the heli down, but I don't see why it can't just be a malfunction or infected pilot. -

I don't believe that is how an air raid siren works... Anyways, I wouldn't zombies being more loud than usual, just from being in a horde, but collectively they would make a fair amount of noise. -
Why can't we just have a feature customizer like in the Elder Scrolls/Fallout Games?

Every gun needs a buff (Aside from the obvious ones that don't). And I meant you would definitely die from a shot to the heart, not just without medical attention. -

Imagine introducing a friend to DayZ, and you want to play together: Friend: So, wher can I find you? You: Well, I'm on a different world, please kill yourself 89 times so we can play together. Friend: ... It's a cool concept, but it would be too flawed for people in situations like this. -

You like a handgun taking 15 bullets to the torso to kill? I'm sorry, but the hitpoints in DayZ need to be reduced, and if possible, a bullet to the heart should be a one-shot kill with any gun. -
Tanks as scenery would be nice, they would fit the setting, but then everyone would complain about not being able to drive them. Maybe they're too badly damaged to drive, maybe the military pulled the bulk of their vehicles out of Chernarus when the infection hit.

We don't want 30% of the population running around with anit-materiel rifles that can take down a chopper in a couple shots. They would be rare enough that you might as well not even put them in (Especially if there was no war going on in said country, which isn't explicitly stated in DayZ). I don't see how it's punishing a certain playstyle, a skilled sniper could still take out a chopper with a good shot. And for the people saying 'Make it more rare', it doesn't matter. People will eventually find them and stockpile them. A lot of people want them removed because they want more of an emphasis on civilian weaponry, less ArmA with some zombies. Everyone in a zombie apocalypse running around with high-end military grade death machines after their third day on the country? You find that realistic? And personally, I don't find it overpowered, I think most snipers should be a one-hit kill in the upper torso, no more superman hitpoints. And if you keep insulting everyone, people are going to stop taking you seriously. -
A .50 cal is an anti materiel rifle. Anti Armour.

This game should have more emphasis on civilian stuff, no tanks, apc's or fighter jets should be in the game. I don't think the m136 and .50 cals should be in the game in the first place, and I find it extremely unlikely that a civilian could drive a tank.

Removing M107/AS50 in favor of increased sniper damage?

No artificial balancing, please. You want to make sniping more difficult? Add wind. You want to make it more even? Decrease the hitpoints, so that not everyone can take 40 makarov bullets, and then a guy with an AK can peg a guy with a DMR, if he's accurate on his first shot. Weapons are already 'balanced' in real life, why not try to emulate it? -
I've been able to occasionally lower my sidearm, you have to do some specific and lucky things, though. And no humanity system, please.

Just make these differences subtle, and you wouldn't have mutations. You would have individual zombies that were once individual people, with different physical abilities.

Well, I guess since it's never happened to you, then there's no need to put it in, right? I would say yes, because sometimes you just accidentally fire when using the action menu, and atl+tabbing may still cause that problem in the standalone. However, if it's going to be used by cycling through fire modes, then I think the grenade, chemlight, and other such options should be assigned to different keys. -

He's not even an active member anymore, you won't get a response from him. Regarding the topic, yes, more Soviet/Russian weapons would be great, and only a small amount of NATO weapons. And Gordon, we don't need MORE military weapons lying around, I think civilian weapons should be more emphasized. -

Why would people be looking for crashed cars? And I was thinking maybe some special 'Spawn hospitals' that spawn no or little loot. -
There's a difference between censoring and 'Everyone is an immature idiot who paints genitals onto their vehicles'. The latter would really break immersion for me.
