Any help? If I launch the game through Steam I get the error 'game is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted' - I have the start up lines done and did the beta patch thing by copying the .exe file etc... If I launch through Play with SIX, I can join servers but Steam just doesn't launch with it, I really don't see the problem =/ Mod is up to date with latest updates including latest beta patch.

For some reason, when I join a DayZ server through Six Launcher, the Steam version doesn't launch with it but it still joins the servers fine and everything, this only started happening today, I didn't update anything today to change anything, but it just stopped launching the Steam version. I have the Steam thing ticked so it should launch it. Any ideas?

I have had ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead installed for years and run them plenty of times, why the hell do I need to download DayZ commander when the game has a server browser and it can be updated through Steam?

So, I just downloaded the Steam version of DayZ, it wouldn't let me join any servers because I had a bad version, So I downloaded the latest one here http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php and http://www.battleye.com/download.html nothing worked, tried setting the launch options for DayZ and it still doesn't work? Why is this shit so confusing? .....

Hey, I was playing today on US 1031, someone spawned behind me and played the Halloween theme, I shot him, I heard his bones break but he kept running, he couldn't catch up so he stopped and used some menu to break my bones then axed me to death, I'm sorry but I have no screenshots, can the admins please check the server logs though! How can you say any anti-cheat program is bad? A cheat can't be detected unless used, you can't expect someone to banned as soon as they use it. VAC bans are timed, so they could happen anytime, but they ban in waves banning people with the same hack. I'm not sure how BattlEye works but I imagine it's harder because people use cheat engine to hack?

xD, the mod is free, what did you do? Buy ARMA II and expect a refund, no, you bought ARMA II, not DayZ.
