hello, my name in dayz is doctorwho I spent about 3 hours trying to find parts for a chopper. I evenually did. and then refueled it, took me ages to refuel it. I had to keep going back and forward continuously. I evenually filled it 3/4 of a full tank. Decided to now use the chopper and go to electro, just a flyby. then i was going to go to cherno just after. just before I got to electro flying in my chopper. server restarts. oh no what happens to my chopper? what happens to me? when I went back in, i wasn't flying no chopper, it said I was dead, but i wasn't dead. i was in the middle of nowhere. empty fields. no gear no nothing. I am fuming. this is one of my rants. rant continues. there was another time a restart messed a chopper up. this time I just finished fixing it up. took me hours. but everything was all green 5 mins to restart. I went to find jerry cans now. couldn't find any. omg restart. ok came back found 2 jerry cans. and went back to chopper, refueled 2 cans, then I went into pilot seat just to see how much went in. nothing went in. everything was orange and no fuel went in. I was fuming then. I thought it wouldn't happen the second time, but it never, it let me fly it for 2 mins. then restarted. can this be fixed. please. this is making dayz very boring, im not getting fun out of the game because of me wasting time doing a chopper up. only for a restart to mess everything up. when im bored with a game, i tend to not go back to the game for a very long time.

well I don't know about vehicles. but I mean choppers. they need repaired again str8 after restart. next time i will record it as a video and post it up. hate when people call me a lier. grammer is not important, maybe in your little world it does. but certainly ain't in mine. I don't suck, every other vehicle is fine, it's just those choppers. if you don't have anything valuable to say, don't bother to reply. sixgunlover, yes its my fault in not noticing the notifications, but its not my fault when the restart, makes chopper need repaired again.

ermm, what are you talking about? :o I don't care if you don't like my grammer. :| anyway restarts also reset's your work you done to a chopper. so if you have repaired it before the restart. after the restart you have to repair it again. bit silly if you ask me. :P yes, a bit of audio, would help, specially in the last 5 mins to restart. :thumbsup:

maybe, it could be a little bit more visible, for example middle of the screen in big text. but yea, my fault in a bit. but restarts shouldn't mess everything up.

I know, but sometimes, when im busy doing something, I don't really look at the text on the bottom left. my full concentration is in the flying.

I went in the server today, and then played, got a alot of stuff including pickaxe, knife and map, etc. then I logged off, then came back in about 20 mins later. I then went back into a server and my gear was back to square one, where did my stuff go? so basically my stufff never got saved. I used to get saved when I first played this game which was version 1.7.0.0 and now it doesn't. plus 80% of all dayz servers don't work for me, for some reason p.s I never knew where to put this, so I put it here.

when I played this dayz in version 1.7.0, my stuff was saved no matter what server I was in. so I can only assume that the updates has changed this. which in my opinion, it's letting the game down. I know how updates work, you get a good batch and a bad batch. I assume this is in the bad batch of updates. Hopefully the standalone, whenever it gets released, This will be resolved. I don't want to be running around trying to get things all day, to find out the next day I come back, and my gear has been lost, it created me a new character. makes my time for the game worthless.

is this due to updates or not?
