No i don't wanna hop constantly i started this thread for a reason :D.

Spent 4-5 hours yesterday to find a solution for a similar problem for a friend but windows XP just won't work, upgrade to 8.1 or 7, even Vista SP2 would do. Just make sure you have enough rams because the minimum req for XP is like 64mb while for newer versions of windows it's almost 1gb.

That can be limiting, what if a server is lagging or i wanted to switch to my friend's server and vice versa?

Are we trying to add more reasons in the game to shoot on sight? didn't you play DayZ origins and saw how that shit turned the game into Bandits vs Heroes? DayZ has a main idea which is survive, you scavenge, kill zombies, and even kill people if they impose any sort of danger to survive but the idea of shooting people because a bandit skin is so cool is extremely childish and doesn't fit the game. One of the best features in the standalone is customizable character appearance, if your skin changes just because you shot an x amount of people doesn't fit into the game and will kill this idea. If you want to shoot people on sight because you think it's fun to be a bandit that's fine but dont expect any extra rewards\special skins for doing that.

To me ammo is rare if you are not server hopping, they should also make M4s and pistols more rare because they are all over any barracks. The rifle red dot sight is also rare i only found that once and i didn't have a rifle at the time.

Right now you have 8 slots in the vest, 6 in the jacket, 6 in the pants, 35 in the bag, 1 melee weapon and 1 rifle on yoru back :D. Just to add i like the new system it's not exactly realistic but it's a game at the end of the day it doesn't have to be.

One other game ruining abuse just like server hopping, it kills the objective of the game. i also suggest locking the gamma\brightness slider or make them settings forced by the server.

Yea there was an instance where i found couple of clips myself but that was in 19 hours of play. Don't justify server hopping with not finding loot, if server got no loot fine you can change it but if you go to the barracks and jump in 10-15 servers then thats fucked up.

I am not assuming anything, i am just amazed how everyone find plenty of ammo when it's not all over the place and i can't think of anything other than hopping and looting barracks on other servers.

Can't launch dayz at all, getting this error on windows xp 32 bit.

First i'll start by listing my PC specs: Asus Crossair III Formula Mobo Cougar 700cm PSU AMD Phenom II X4 3.4 ghz 965 BE CPU AMD Radeon 7850 2gb GPU 8gb DDR3 rams Windows 8 Pro 64x I usually get 40-60 FPS in all maps depending on what part of the map, population and time on the last restart. In Taviana and mostly in open fields and towns i get 15-20 FPS not just that the game keeps freezing every 4-5 secs for 1 sec which makes the game unplayable, when i checked the GPU usage and the CPU usage i had them on 64% and 24% respectively and didn't matter changing the game settings from low to normal to high i just kept getting the same FPS and the same freezing problem.

I am suffering that on Taviana, tried playing with Catalyst settings but it never worked.

Bump, any help please? it's unplayable atm due to constant freezing.
