I was just thinking about this today at relatively the same time as you posted this :huh:

No matter how much everyone says that the CZ550 is easier to find, I have never actually found one. I have found one in the back of some guys truck and my friend has found one while we were looting together, but I have only ever found mags for the damn thing. However, the M24 I find quite a bit. Both guns I have only used once (That being because I prefer the DMR and cause you cant find CZ550 mags when you want them) and fired two shots from each. The shots I made with the CZ missed because of the sights, both shots with the m24 hit because of the sights. Sure they're both the same, but its the sights that set them apart. I prefer the M24.

Was it just me, or did Rocket put away his AK faster than I get out of bed?(In the latest blog video) Increased weapon swap speeds, Hoorah! :lol:

New zombie animations and poses. That means new hit boxes have to be made. That means more time in developement........................... Damn. Also, I'd say to try for The Walking Dead zombie animations, they are legend.

I know a lot of you including me went, you serious? How the hell would a game like this work. Well I thought and you know what, IF you perfected the scripting on the Dinosaurs, this could work. I'm gonna say it in a way which I do not intend to be offensive, GET LAID! Lose that virginity now. DayZ is the greatest, even when standalone comes out you still have ARMA 2 and OA, so it doesnt really matter cause you are paying for them.

Not too much. I will note that 50% of my thoughts are about Zombies, My favourite show is the walking dead, favourite game is the walking dead, favourite sport is zombie killing, favourite past time is drawing epic zombie scenarios. Its not that I play to much, it is as I said before, Im A wee bit of a tard, and I like it. Haters Gonna Hate.

My strategy is quite similar to yours Benito. But to be honest the reason why I survive for long periods at a time is because ( Im amazingly talentent and) I live with what I got and not be greedy. Yeah sure you want a nice gun, but ask yourself, is it worth it when I already have nice stuff? No. Reward divided by Risk. If you have a positive number that isnt 1, go ahead. Otherwise staying away from high risk places are the best way to go (unless your noob and play on servers with low populations, which is ok until you get better). My next move is to find a very low trafic area, hidden and far away from anything but water, make a small base, invite some friends and there you have it the best way of surviving. Have the bare essentials and a solid weapon and your good.

Is that an overexaggeration or are you serious? Sometimes I find that when I shoot in third person and its at close quarters it does this a bit for any weapon. You should got to first person if you want the most accuracy, or just aim down your sight. If none of this helps I can only suggest... not to go into close quarters with zombies! Avoid it at all costs. Afterall, Zombies kill people, fact of life.

Greatest allround I believe is one of my favs and always in my loadout/backpack is the: DMR. The DMR is a semi-automatic sniper rifle with a good clip size, accurate, 1-2 hits to bring a player to the floor, scope woth good sight, you can reload m24 mags to make DMR's, ok amount of ammo, can be used with NVG's. If not this I would use my most favourite which is the M4A1 CCO SD. Silenced, great sight, nice mag size, ammo is rare, but if your using it properly its not a big deal, ultimate zombie slaying weapon, kills players nicely with the addition of the silencer. Its because of the attachments that make this gun more favourable to me, even if it is less damaging than the average akm.

Coastal Cuties with shit pc's make people with ghillies stick out like a sore thumb. Expect them to scream 'bandit' over the side channel. Like what everyone has been saying, camo clothing for cities, ghilli for anywhere else (excludes snow covered areas). Good luck on finding some ghilli!

Happens to me all the time. I walk into grocerie stores expecting the stuff on the floor. I was playing Arma II the other day and I was heading to some barracks to grab some loot, got there, "This isnt freaking DayZ!" My friend said. I was reading some book and I found myself saying 'A-Two' instead of 'all'. Just many cases of my ability to be a total retard. Too much of a good thing? The side affects aren't life threatening... yet.

My first kill starts with a previous game that stuffed up for some reason. I had looted an AKM from a broken down car and made my way to Zub where I logged off. Sadly it spawned me at the coast and turned me into a woman. Win There was many reports of some bandit with a car in Cherno in the side channel. I though (As noob as I was back then) that I could ambush this bandit, blast his wheels and take the car for myself and go help some other noobs. I was searching an industrial warehouse for a wheel so I could repair the car after popping his wheels (This was back when nobody needed tool boxes for repairs). I made my way up to the top platform for my search without luck. Out of nowhere some hatchet weilding chick appears, hatchet swinging, coming for me. You can only guess what I used my Akm for. Being the noob I was at the game I was soon pinned down by zombies on the top rail from firing those first shots. Slowly running out of ammo I decided I should be able to run and gun, but apparently if you do that you fall through the stairs and die. Winning. :o

All I can recommend is that you use another server search engine like commander or just finding servers manually through OA. I tend to use all three cause I can, hopefully you can find more servers doing that. Good luck.
