Since I upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit ArmA 2/OA has a black line on the right side of the screen. I can't find a frickin' solution anywhere: I updated my graphics card drivers, set the resolution in the config file and even reinstalled the game, but the line is still there. My native resolution is 1440x900. (I set both Interface resolution and 3D resolution to the same and the same result). Please help me, I didn't play the game for weeks!!

The Enfield with a scope would be kinda overpowered, just sayin'...

I played DayZ for 6 months now, and still, I have never been to Green Mountain, just...it's...I have a weird feeling when I just look at it..gives me the creeps...

Today I started playing the Invasion 1944 mod for DayZ, so far its pretty damn awesome. I spawned at Kamenka with a small pistol with 8 bullets and I started going to the Balota airfield ASAP. I just wandered around in the "Nothing to lose!" altitude. I finally arrived at Balota and went into the first hangar. I saw 2 guys, 1 with a M1A1 Thompson, the other one with a Springfield. I sprayed my bullets into the guy with the Thompson ASAP, he died and I had no bullets to kill the other guy :o The Springfield guy was talking on direct chat and i didn't understand anything, he started shooting me with his pistol but he missed a few times. I rushed to grab the M1A1 Thompson and then zombies wounded me alot, I fired 29 bullets into the other guy till he died. I grabbed his Springfield and got the hell out of there. It was my first time that I killed more than 1 guy while being alone B) .

OMG You're so pro by killing a fresh spawn and probably some friendly people too! :facepalm:

Yeah that sometimes happens to me too. I just restart the game and it gets fixed

I really have to tell you TWO of my best kills : The first good kill was at the Balota airfield, I only had a G17 with 3 shots, I was low on blood and my hands were shaking and I had no painkillers. I was in a pine tree near the comm tower. I saw a guy kill 2 bambis in the comm tower. While he was "looting" them I only saw his head, I tried to shoot but I missed with 2 shots, then I went into 3rd person mode and shot him in the head with my last shot, I thought he was still alive, he was going prone. A minute later it said I killed him, weirdly enough.. Thats what you get for killing bambis!! The next kill was at Devil's castle, people were complaining about a helicopter at Stary Sobor killing people. I was playing with my friend, which was playing for his first time. We also had a heli, my friend said to land on a steep hill (yeah, a really dumb idea). I turned off the engine and the heli slid into the forest. After that We went on the top of the Devils castle and then we heard the Sobor-copter. He was auto-hovering over the castle and he saw us. He just said "Hey guys!!!! Sorry but you are going to die now!" My friend started shooting the heli with his AK-74 which I gave him. I also started shooting him with my trusty M14 AIM. We both thought we was going off, after 5 seconds we saw the heli crash in the forest nearby. 3 mins after looting the body of the pilot and gunner we stumbled upon a tent with a M107 and an AS50. *LUCK CHAIN* B) :beans:

Always go from cover-to-cover when in cities. Never prone or crouch, its just easier to kill you when you are doing that

No zombies? I was just at Solnichniy and there were more zombies than in Chernogorsk!!

As the guy above me said, its in the controls, somewhere below the look controls.

If he is a bandit or he has a mega-macho weapon I shoot ASAP. If he's a bambi with a pistol or with a civilian weapon like the Winchester or Lee I ask them if they are friendly

1. Kill everyone that is a bandit 2. Leave bambies, seriously, if you kill one of them you are the biggest scumbag in the multiverse 3. If someone points a gun at you, don't ask if he's friendly. Just go away and hide somewhere. 4. If you see a group of people with alot of crap with them, HIDE

When I first played DayZ I was friendly for a few months of playing ^_^ . I got my friend into playing it so we got on a low-pop 700+ vehicle server (Helicopters, helicopters everywhere). I picked him up off the shore, so later after flying over Chernarus for a few minutes, and then we both saw Devil's castle. He told me to land on a steep hill (Okay, this was dumb) so our heli got broken really bad. In the meantime people were complaining about a bandit in a chopper flying over Stary Sobor, a few seconds later he came to Devil's castle. I had a M14 AIM (For my first time :D). The guy was just auto-hovering over the castle. Before I started shooting he said "Hey guys!!!!". My friend asked me should we shoot him, I just said "What are you waiting for! shoot that bastard :murder: !!". We shot him, I thought he was moving off but he was actually crashing to the ground. I couldn't believe that, well that a heli kill would be my first kill. Another luck moment after that, my friend and me found an AS-50 and M107 in a tent! :beans:
