I would stear away from DayZPriv. We had a couple of servers rented of them for two months. For the first month, it was pretty good, but we had some desync here and there. Nothing unbearable though. However, our servers went down 48 hours ago and are still down. We have sent them multiple messages on numerous front, but they yet to return any of them and our servers continue to stay down. They had a post on here and hopefuly you read it. It was full of negitive feedback. I see that it has been deleted now and do not know if the mods pulled it or if they did.

This really is a great server. As an admin, I can say that we do take a lot of pride in the server and are always trying to improve it. We go out of our way to help the players and we try to make everyone's experience as positive as we possibly can.

We have added some of my favorite scripts to date. Building parts snapping and craftable IEDs (4 versions)!!!

We had the first of many unique server events, aptly named the "Treasure Island Chainsaw Massacre". Everyone was given a chainsaw, a briefcase was put into a lockbox on one side of an island, and a jet ski was placed at the other end. Congrats to Viral Taco as he was the first person to obtain the briefcase and drive away from the island on the jetski and he got to keep the briefcase. For participating, everyone was able to keep their chainsaw.

Great, brand new server to play on. I have been on here testing and playing since Kaboobie set it up and I have to say, I love this map and the features that are in it. You deffinately need to keep your head in it all the time. When grinding high loot areas, the NPCs that spawn will surprise you if you let your gaurd down. They are tough, but not overwhelming. They also have some great loot on them and it feels very rewarding when you kill and loot them. It's not your boring loot whoring server when players are not on. There is always excitment and aticipation that NPCs will be right around the corner. The missions also have a great risk vs reward system to them. High risk from NPCs equals great loot. Easily one of the best servers I have been on.

I appreciate it, but the last server that said that teleported the admins to me and KOS, They were the Vendetta Gaming Clan server and Anthonys Day Server...

SO, I bought and tried playing DayZ but the two servers I played on kicked me due to being a noob. Is this what I have to expect from all the servers? Has everyone become so accustomed to playing that they frown upon nubs and have no patience to help them?

I don't mind, as long as you play maturely. I'll add you as well as soon as I am up and running.

I was wondering everyone's input on if I should buy Arma 2 and play DayZ or should I wait a little while and play the Stand Alone when it comes out?
