pro tip, if in a big town like elektro...crawl to a tall building or structure with a ladder. (crane, school, warehouse) CLIMB the fucking ladder and jump off...problem solved.

what ^ he said. and as a youth gamer in 2014, if you cant figure out how to build a computer i feel sorry for your future. maybe ask mummy and daddy to build it for you. my father in law is 78 and he decided he wanted to "learn computers"...needles to say he is a meticulous and detail oriented old timer. Guess what he figured out how to do all by himself? i7 4770k, over clocked, proper water block and cooler system and a titan...LOL. the day vehicles hit the EXP the servers will explode. vehicles are just a requirement because thats what people are used to in the mod and breakingpointa3. so its just one of those things that is a hot topic and always complained about. that being said, the whole revamped engine and server side reliance of SA is a difficult task. So making vehicles completely server side,etc is a task and a half. But the pay off is performance and impossible to hack (hopefully) there was nothing worse than see a fighter jet fly by in the mod LOL

hah, look at breaking point for arma 3. now thats a well polished game base (arma 3) and a wonderfully done mod on top of it. its basically a working standalone with vehicles and humanity. But it has reached its potential and is basically a really good PVP experience with some fun survival elements. (with amazing ballistics and weapons that SA cant touch...oh and the player movement is ace)

wow these threads... OP its a sandbox game with no rules! its just a video game, relax, take it with a grain of salt. It is DayZ...this frustration is why the game is popular. if only everyone was forced to live through the mod, we would have a nice mature player base... banditry and kill on sight is normal and to be expected. you have to adjust your playstyle based on the situation: -- random encounter in a low loot area like a forest or something? Have fun with your player interaction. -- looting the airfield? has its risks! almost always people will shoot you for your stuff. Fix? -- play better, be more sneaky, use the trees, etc.

EXP is way better. better features, frame rate (most of the time), etc.

there will always be hackers in online games...its just inevitable. so calm the fuck down and remember its just a game. i swear the intrigue of hacking wouldnt be so big if forums werent flooded with people complaining about haxors! that being said im just hitting 70-75 hours on SA and have not see one hacker yet. that is small fish compared to some of you without day jobs im sure, but still the majority has not seen haxors. so that boasts well for the server side junk.

its all based on spawn. since they changed the south west spawn rate way back, we all spawn east. so naturall BZ is the happenin place to be lol I just ran from BZ to NEA to NWA, south down the west side of the map across the coast from left to right and back up to BZ..took me weeks. saw 3 fucking people!, i was specifically hunting humans. so annoying. all on high pop servers. then i got all comfy on a rock and it shot me in the air and killed me...ahaha. but man it seems so much more desolate now a days BRING BACK 60-80 person servers!

whats ur ghz? im 4.25 ghz with a gtx 570 and get 30-60 fps cant complain. sounds like ur rig will be fine, not horrible at all. unless its like 2.4 ghz or something

lol "a very real danger" i dont know what tital fall or ESO is. but im sure I wont play them. South park on the other hand got my beans and playtime. Still havent ventured from SA or Overwatch though.. if all you did in DayZ is play with your friends, your missing alot of what the game offers.

im not going to watch the video, but you say noclip...its probably just wall bug? many people do this on many places in the map. its just bugs...not hax0rs but then again I didnt watch the video so correct me if im wrong

just be a little careful with joining "any" server, as not all are setup properly. you can wipe your character accidentally. stick to true official similarly named servers: vilayer, gameservers, fragnet, mpgs, etc

server hop should reset your character... or climb a ladder and roll off a roof. soo many easy options to fix this.
