is that a gtx 635 mobile? or what? you should be ok...can you be more specific on model/make? dont expect the more beautiful of settings, but im going to guess 20-30 fps at most on modest settings

see this confuses me...i think its the AMD problem with SA. many have posted about this, there are fixes around your system slaps mine in the face, but we get same fps. yet an intel system with high high spec gets more fps than me... im i7 4.25 ghz with a gtx 560 and i get 30 fps at worst, 60 at best..on high (havent tried new patch, havent played in 12 days)

i think they should stop re inventing the wheel here...they have alhorithms and code for amazing ballistics from arma 2/3 why not use it verbatim? isnt the sim supposed to be a sim? no balancing acts should be implemented...

try keybinding from the CFG file...should clear things up

its all about not limiting the play experience. all items should be implemented, just loot tables very VERY conservative. DayZ is a game that strives to be open world, realistic, survival simulator...why on earth would you limit anything?

So silly to say "hopefully never" come on guys... you can make a ghillie in minutes in a forest, so why not have that as an option? you know realism ...what we strive for in this game... same with rangefinders...super rare maybe but dont limit any single item because nancy boy is scared of it being too end game. same with a 50 calibre sniper rifle, or any sniper rifle (308+). Just have to adjust the rarity tables and carry on. no single item should be omitted for "fairness" or should i say "fairyness" lol

i ruined a fair whack of dayzmod by using that fucking database...lesson learned. think about how much extra time you get out of the game by not using that as a loot aid or gps... same with the forums hah...

you get my beans for those sweet sweet burns! i approve of this post just because of that. you mean the part where they stabalize the base mechanics...fail alpha is not a content stage, they are just appeasing the whiney kids by adding shabby content. whole team focus should be on fixing game breakers and core mechanics and performance, etc. not adding various pistols and bowler hats

thats well above average for an integrated gfx card a very fast cpu + integrated graphics may be pretty playable, but not very beautiful. if you dont match his other specifications, you may be sorely dissapointed.

i wouldnt cross my fingers...thats a low end laptop with low CPU and low GFX card. barely meets the minimums and its a laptop to boot

you have room to improve. whats your ghz? some tweaks in the CFG could help immensely and definitely if you get over 4.0ghz some how you will see much improvement. Also AMD known to run a bit shittier than intel, but I heard fixes are happening for that.

my brain hurts but yes im sure in time others maps will be available, or at least from the modding community. remember A-L-P-FUCKING-H-A, optimization and core mechanics...then beta then release..ask this question in 12 months

bye DayZ is deathmatch no matter how much content is in it...why the fuck would you want a game that has no deathmatch, sniping, pvp appeal...may as well go make an arma 3 mod that has unicorns and airsoft. -
So what happened to the mouse? Mine is now squirrelly as all hell. I have tried playing with the sensitivity and such. Just updated to most recent patch. unplayable at this point. Im no newb, i know the deal with accell and such. This is definitely new. Anyone else? Is it a known NEW issue? Fix? thank you

get the mod, you can find arma 2 oa cheap cheap. then you can play 20 variants of dayz. its a pretty amazing experience. i highly recommend this to everyone who hasnt played the mod. start with vanilla dayz, then try overwatch/dayzero/etc. vanilla dayz is nuts, that feeling of being lost and you suddenly find a busted up vehicle, spend all day trying to fix it. Stumble upon a downed heli crash sight full of zombies, sneak in, get some good gear, etc...fucking amazing.

yes and no a 3.0 ghz 2007 processor can be quite powerful and work well with SA. you need to be more specific. there ar i7s that are only clocking 2.25 ghz and can barely run the game... normal is also a relative term...hows your view distance? cgf settings?

^ get the second one, it has a far better video card. (7770) should play SA pretty good on max settings. The processor is lacking some juice though. thats actually a great priced gaming rig... its out of stock though, id try building a rig similar to that. but id swap in a cheaper case, get a 3770k processor or 4770k and a cheap water cooler and only 6-8gb ram gtx 680 if possible and ur done for a few years build from individual newegg parts or ncix or tigerdirect and you will save a bundle, only buy a gfx card that is on a good sale. will help save $$$ motherboard is important as well, go for something that is overclock and gaming friendly. Asus or gigabyte.

^ guaranteed. also remember the ps4 and xbox are running slower processors than most pc's. Albeit custom hardware for gaming, much much lower clock speeds than your average i5. that being said I just dont think the consoles will be able to support a direct pc port, maybe a very slim version on a smaller map with 32 max players or something.
