People! Let's all agree Frankie is undeniably bullshit in way of actually playing (Ie: Staging 95% of the video). Cheats or not, enjoyable. Now, I kind of want to ask a few questions if anyone has some answers, I'm really keen to get as much information as possible (Wanting to finally start a Channel, with DayZ SA being the first video *Tear falls down cheek*) a] Under this NDA agreement, will the participates in the DayZ Stand Alone BETA be able to record within it for upload after the NDA is extinguished? Or will it cover any & all Footage, aside from Twitch.tv Streaming? b] Will the price fluctuate directed by the current stages? Dean mentioned a few times trying to follow-suit with MineCraft, in that It's not going to cost all too much. However, will it do the same in Pricing for ALPHA / BETA (Costing 10%, or 25% less then it currently does) Or will it be a set-price over the entire course of it's Development? c] Will we be able to Donate to the Development Team, and of course our Friendly Neighbourhood Forum Mod's? Or does BIS have regulations against accepting Donations? That's all^^ Hopefully someone out there knows =L

Of course they're going to re-use certain aspects from the engine used in ArmA: II, and the advanced & enhanced one being used in ArmA: III. Call of Duty has been running on the same engine since '07, not a surprise. But, the core features in the ArmA: III engine are completely different, main things left as is are stuff that work's perfectly (Character Models, although you can change clothing, Slightly enhanced Vehicle Damage and a few other things). So, you can see why It's so exciting were it to be true. There's almost boundless possibilities..

Hmhm.. New UI, New Character Clothing / Animations.. Would this happen to be running on the ArmA: III Engine? Not sure if it's been said yet, but If it's true I may very well cry with anticipation.

I certainly wouldn't like (Understatement) a Marketplace in DayZ. I believe there was another Game that gave that option, didn't turn out too well for the Development Team, or the Game itself. There are Servers which 'allow' you to buy in-game Items, using various things like Zombies dropping Cash (Much like Chernarus / Takistan Life) which is then linked to your GUID, where you can log-in on the Servers Website allowing you to buy things like Ammo, Backpacks, Food and so on. -Don't take my word for it! I've only played on it once, 4-5 Months ago. It may very well be shut down by now, but I am sure in StandAlone someone'll mod in the same thing, or at least something very similar-

Some great idea's, not sure about the exact choices you chose though. Locks are a great idea, perhaps you can find them throughout the map and put them on existing Buildings, so as to fortify them moreso. I don't think things like Electronic locks would.. fit, if that's the correct term, with DayZ. As I see it, It's about surviving as long as possible - Then, after becoming well equipped you move onto more challenging things; Finding vehicles, creating Camps ECT. Even then after creating / finding the aforementioned things, there is always an ever-present danger of being found. Padlocks would help if you set-up in a small shack or something like that, with the only way of gaining access being with Bolt Cutters, or simply shooting the Lock (Allowing any near-by Infected to be attracted, meaning most people would think twice before simply shooting a Door knob to then find a troll Tent)

Dean! It's 4-5AM, get to sleep! ;-P The Standalone looks fantastic at the moment, and I'm sure it'll play much better then any Screenshots can show! Can't wait to get my hands on a copy. I believe I speak for most, if not all of the community in saying; We're not overly bothered if the release date is pushed back, for whatever reason that may be. Fairly certain most of us can't comprehend how much work has went into making this a viable Game, when it was only ever released less then a year ago as a small Project aiming for a couple hundred, maybe a thousand or so Players. If you're not satisfied with some features and so on, I'm sure it'll be worth the extra wait for a completely polished & functional Game. From the looks of it, that's exactly what we'll be seeing in the coming months. Well done to the DayZ Development Team, along with the Forum Moderating Team keeping the flaming to a minimum without going insane while doing it ;-P I'd also like to say for myself, I have an open wallet. Feel free to take however much you want for the Game when it's released ;-)

Ah! See, you can reduce that processing power by simply making the Adrenaline shots themself very difficult to find (Perhaps use the current algorithm used in the spawning on Anti-Biotic's, or heighten it moreso if that too is low). Atop of reducing the possible risk of using far too much Server RAM / Processing power, It'd also make it an emergency-use only Item, perhaps stock piled by a Clan or Group before a large raid on a known Camp ECT. with Members of the targeted Clan online. As I see it, I was amazed it wasn't already in the game to begin with. It has the potential to be quite the sought-after Item, nearing the Mtn. Dew area of Items along with adding many various possibilities during PvP scenarios.

Looks fun! Those Bloodsuckers, man.. I tried recording a Private video to convince a few friends to get it, made me scream like a bitch in Object AII! Haha! I'll try to get on the server when I get on a decent computer, I'll leave a quick review afterwards :-)

Hallo, Just a short question for the Admin'ing crews out there & DayZ Staff: What would you recommend for a DayZ Server Host? More in-depth: Which would you recommend for the Services provided, Anti-Hacks, Help provided for new Users / Administrators, rough Hardware statistics / average Server up-time & of course, cost! I'm looking for no-more then approximately $60-80AUD - Around the same, more-or-less, in USD | Around ₤38-50 GBP. The Host's locations itself isn't too large, near all Providers have a Data Centre in South-east Asia / US (If the Host is specific to Western Europe / Northern Europe, I'm afraid I can't handle a 300MS Ping.)

Ha! I've run into multiple people in possession of the GAU-12, the 30mm mounted ChainGun used on the A-10 Jet ECT. For obvious reasons I didn't even bother fighting, I just watched from a distance. It's amazing, in a way. I saw one person fire the 'weapon' beneath him, which launched him at least 40 meters into the air, presumably he had God-Mode of some sort. Another, shot down a flying UH-1Y in a matter of seconds, leaving tracer 'Stars' over the Stary Sky. To the person whom posted a Script: Don't. You're just allowing any other child-minded person on here to see there's a working Script / Executer, giving them stupid ideas. FYI: They're not Hacks. Hacks take time & devotion to make, mostly used to create Virus' / Hack computers or Data Centres What these children use are Scripts, or Cheats. They simply download, use for 30 minutes or so, then get banned.

I'd like it implemented, but much different to what you're all thinking of. Personally, I'd prefer if it simply allowed you to take, as an example, 25% Less damage from most Rifles, with the exclusion of AS50 / M107 ECT. (Use common-sense here) - Which, in a way, is exactly what it is designed to do in the natural Human Body, as-per the 'Fight or Flight' response, releasing large quantities of dopamine direct to the Body which in-turn increase's muscle respiration time, effectively giving more Strength & allowing the person to feel less pain I'm sure we've all had that moment where you're in, say, a Fist-Fight & you're hit in the Jaw, breaking it, yet feel no pain - even quite some time after the incident. Same goes with shots from anything from a Pistol to a low-calibre Rifle. There are thousands of accounts from Servicemen saying they'd been shot in the arm, leg, even chest (Without hitting vital organs, of course) & felt no pain or changes, aside from slight decrease in movement (Which itself could be implemented, ie: If you've taken the Adrenaline Shot, although you take less damage you're still able to have fractures / go unconscious as normal after you've been shot quite a lot)
