Can't do much without the Host name, which Admin data-base panel they (..you) use, and whether you have direct access to it. -
Hey. You seem like a perfect candidate for Balota Buddies (..I really refer people there more then their own members, yet I don't play there often lol). They have UK / US / AU Servers, meaning they triple the possible community members / Clan members (..Most Aus / UK Clans that play together settle with the US Server as it's a decent mid-way point) - They also have many active members and constantly recruiting groups. I'm not sure what their website link is, although Google = good.

Lee Enfield will do it most of the time provided they've got a decent amount of blood (..Around the 9-10K mark, which is common if they've spent a decent amount of time looting Buildings). Though, you will have to be quick about bandaging them if you want them to survive. -

The above; Aha. As an estimate, I would say he was going roughly 40KM/h (..Due to the slow turn speed) and just meters above the ground.. Not to mention that's a very recent Gunship designed to take most calibre of round's without damage, whereas the DayZ Helicopter the UH-1H is a 1950's design made to only transport Troop's to the Military Outposts, occasionally to the front-line. Once more, If you need some-sort of mental image of what a Helicopter crash at speed is, look for the Helicopter that crashed into a Crane in London. -

They've already discussed adding abandoned (..or over-run) Military installations / Military Harbour's & Port's, what would lead you to think they wouldn't have Submarines? I think you're assuming I'm talking of full-size, Nuclear Powered ships designed to launch Missiles; What I had in mind was a small, two man under-water vessel with a small propeller at the rear (..They have this design in ArmA: III, just search for ''ArmA: III Demo'' ect). -

What sort of twat would be able to find & repair a Helicopter then crash directly to the ground / trees? Let's disregard that for now.. Helicopters, especially the UH-1H, are extremely vulnerable. The UH-1H was created on a base-model of a 1952 model UH-1 Iroquois with added features, meaning it's still very weak. Let's say, for example, you're in a car is going roughly 160-250KM/h and you hit a tree; Would you expect anyone inside to survive, or the car to be fine considering? No. What's different with a Helicopter? They use the same materials, do they not? If anything, it's worse. You not only have sharpened pieces of steel reducing your body to pieces, but you also have the highly-explosive Fuel everywhere, resulting in a final eruption of flame & debris being scattered for miles. If you need an example of this, go look at the recent tragedy in-which a Helicopter collided with a Crane in London. -
I hope that in the standalone the Cherno hotel has a huge interior..

I understand DayZ isn't using the ArmA: III engine entirely; That being said, the A:III Engine is more a upgraded A:II engine, meaning thing's wouldn't be hard to implement. As such, I'd love to see under-water element's in DayZ - ie: A submarine would be an added spawn Vehicle, allowing you to travel beneath the waves to the extended Utes island, without the risk of catching a sickness as you would in a PBX / Swimming. It'd open the door to, almost, an entire new Game style. Perhaps there's a sunken Transport Ship (..Such as the one of the side of Skalisty) which would have varied loot-spawns for Scuba Gear, or canned Military Ration's which have several food types inside & can be eaten several times before It's entirely empty. Just a thought I've had. The chances of it happening are near nil, but dream's never hurt ;-) -

In short: Hes confused. He must be meaning the 'Wrecks', which is an additional add-on to DayZ for Servers, to-wit they spawn (..I believe) BMP's, Ural's, and T-72's along with assorted air vehicles ect. He must be meaning those, as they also spawn loot.

I was implying something, I may as well clearly say it - People don't conform. People don't abide by Rules set by another person. People change, evolve and move on. If they feel spawning with an AK-107 GL is fine, then so it shall be. They spend their cash to buy their Server, to meet their needs. While you disagree, others do not. Also; It was Dean's decision to have you spawn with a weapon, then his to remove it. Just as it is the Server Owners hosts' decision to spawn you with a weapon or not. I honestly don't see much in your point. You're basic logic is that DayZ, itself a Modification, should be left un-modified & all 1.5M player's should cope with it. It's, excuse the French, utter bollocks. Plain-and-simple. If you disagree with it, change the Server. Balota Buddies's, although myself not apart of the community, are quite good from word of mouth. Straight forward DayZ(ed) with no condition's, not to mention the regular Players. -

Fairly simple answers; | It's always fun to mess around with DayZ(ed) & just enjoy the Game. However, most people don't particularly enjoy the long walking trek's and so on, with this and the limited Vehicles in 'Regular DayZ(ed)' it become's more a chore to play. Yes, people (..myself included) don't mind the long hour's spent walking aimlessly too some extent. Yes, people still love the core feature's of DayZ(ed) and it's unmatched in the current Zombie-Survival MMO Genre. But, don't attempt to sugar-coat it with the usual / pretentious ''That's DayZ, bro'', It begins to get.. frankly, boring after long night's of walking.. and walking.. and walking. These Servers, as said, are strictly Private Hive. People needn't worry about loosing Data, which lead's to a lot of enhanced aspect's such as people tend to be more willing to be Friendly, due to there being little to loose. While it detract's from what some consider DayZ, it add's a lot for a lot of people. Side note : DayZ at the current state is a Modification of a Game. Rocket created it to Modify what others considered their baby, no? Rocket himself has embraced the Modification community, a sense of 'The more the Merrier' deal. If you enjoy something different, yet enjoy the core concept's, you can easily modify. From the starting load-out, to the amount of Loot. Sorry to get a little hipster here, but: The original DayZ(ed) had you spawn with a Revolver & Ammunition. Then, it was degraded to a Makarov. Finally, to nothing at all. If anything, spawning with a weapon is closer to the original & real DayZ(ed) then not. -

I really don't want to argue, anyhow: There were four people on, one being myself, another vSatanv (..hadn't disconnected after I shot him), I also remember a Parachute from the MI-8 along with PKT fire, meaning either he was a 'chute or a Gunner. So, at the beginning your credibility is nil. You've already made an obvious lie. Ignoring the fact that given I had spawned at Kamenka and headed directly to Stary via Zelenogorsk, with the closest spawn being Balota Airstrip, he would not have been able to see me, shall we discuss the timing? I leave my Helicopter in favour of a parked AN2, and begin to take off. At that exact moment, I notice you coming from the coast (Surely if you thought I'd be headed to NWAF ect. you'd fly there first, would you not?) to-wit the aforementioned details roll-out. Now, before you try and lie, at least make it seem believable. Side note: Want a community? Don't attempt to insult the only person aside from your Group, rather assist & aide them so it doesn't happen again. While you're at it, stop using the DayZ.ST map. -

Without trying to be too bias due to my death's, I'll leave a small review: Whilst playing, it's fairly good. Lag in Cities is higher then what is usual, but that's just that the Cities were unloaded. Vehicle's are quite abundant, as you'd expect. Then, after having killed one of the Admin's Friend, if not an Admin himself (..vSatanv) and dying myself due to a MI-8 Gunner which was hovering above, just past Kamyshovo. I respawned at Kamenka, getting a Chopper, I went to Stary, NWAF then finally NEAF. Then, funnily enough, the MI-8 appear's and begin's shooting me.. I, once again, die. As I said, is it not funny the exact MI-8 that had killed me quite a way's away is now where I currently am? Now, vehicle wise? Great. Administration? Pathetic. I know DayZ.ST offer a Map displaying Player's and Vehicle's, but you really use it? That's quite low - Especially seeing as I was the only person aside from your Group that was on. What's to say you wouldn't use it to find Camp's, hunt fresh spawn's, or give yourself Item's? I wouldn't suggest having this Server as a regular just for that reason. Remove's any sort of security that when you log-off in a well hidden Camp you won't return to have it raided, or try running across a forest in the middle-of-nowhere to then be shot by a suspiciously located Admin. -
Hmmhh.. Thus far (..the list alone) seem's decent, good at best. I'm not too happy with some of the changes; HeliCrashes spawning as the Client moves through-out the Server (Much how Ammo Box spawning work's, it could lead to HeliCrash spawning) Along with adding varied weapon's.. I liked that the weapon's came few-and-far between. You had a clear choice: A] Follow the US-route, with the M4 / M16 varient's-B] The Russian route, with the AK series and so on (..With the odd German / English weapons). I suppose I'm just too conservative in what I like in-game, ah well. I'll learn to live with it.

People : It's the small thing's which create the great big thing's. The specific locations for Loot Spawn's is one of this; It add's to the realism & immersion that you are one of a handful Survivors, scavenging a vast land just to guarantee you'll live on another day. If you hurry through a Building, you're likely to miss a Can of Beans which may in-turn lead to possible starvation when you're in need on a long trek through forested lands. Yes, it may not seem much, but when you're creating, in it's most basic form, a completely new style Engine for a completely different Game to what it's designed to do, It's quite a lot. Dean and the various other Development Team members spend day's on end looking at Code, to-wit they're rewarded after week's with a few improvement's when they eventually test them. The sheer amount of dedication needed to do such is quite incomprehensible to any Fan waiting - So, I beg of you, just accept thing's may not be to your complete expectation yet, and be happy they're putting so much effort into it so on release it will meet them.
