Where did you hear it lags on windows 7 ? It really doesn't. To answer your question, we'd need to know the model of your GPU.

Can someone explain to me how to disconnect properly ? Is there such a thing ? I mean, do you just disconnect and it saves where you are in the map ? What happens when you're not online ? Where is your character at ? If someone can explain that basically, i'd appreciate it.

I've been playing the game a lot lately and it's very addicting to me. I've found some great weapons like double barrel shotguns, crossbows, uzis, and a few different kind of handguns. Your computer is weak in every aspect but RAM. That would be an answer to "WHAT THE HELL".. and I read some information on that processor. It's not for this kind of game.

It was D3DOverride. If you don't know what that is, it's a little program that forces games to use triple buffering and VSYNC. It's useful for ATI/AMD video cards because their stock drivers are shit. After closing that, it doesn't crash anymore after changing graphics settings.

I hope that isn't it cause that L3 cache helps with gaming a lot. I'll try some things and update this thread..

Does anyone know why when I change any graphical setting in the advanced tab, the game crashes to desktop while applying the setting ? It happens even if I just load Arma II without the DayZ mod.. CPU - AMD Athlon II X3 435 GPU - Radeon 7770 RAM - 4 GB The CPU is overclocked slightly at 3.2 Ghz and unlocked to a certain degree through an ASUS mainboard. It was able to unlock the 6 MB of L3 cache. I don't understand why this game would give me a problem like this. No other game has.

OK, this game and mod is done extremely well. I love the atmosphere and the intricacy of everything ! I figured out how to open my bag and use things. I like how when I'm injured the game emulates that with a graphical post effect. I found some stuff and used a flare to light up a barn I was in. This game has driven me to get my money back for WarZ. I'll never play that now that I have this.

OK, I'm in a game now, but I don't understand the controls well. There must be a pretty steep learning curve for this. I pressed L to use the flashlight, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Should it ? By the way, this game is much better than War Z.
