    I have found one reason that would make this "Bad Version" problem occur.. When using DayZ commander to launch the game you must not use the "launch game using steam" option. When you use this option it seems to change an important command line for namalsk. By unchecking this box in Dayz commander settings and making sure you have the correct version, you should be good to go. Hope this helps someone. It was annoying me for a while.
