no. I LOVE the fact that you have ONE character. If you are on the opposite side of the map from your friend, you really are on the opposite side. Plan you meeting, and survive the journey. AAAADVEEEENTUUUUURETIIIIIME

People who bought the game despite the warnings (that is everywhere, in CAPS LOCK), have no right to complain this hard. I for one is having the most wonderful time! I can open doors and shit without breaking my legs! For being an early alpha like this, I find it rather playable, and already slightly more enjoyable than the mod! Dogez. So zombie. Much improve. Wow.

You are supposed to need a flashlight to see properly. Man I wish people would stop with this stupid gamma-trick. All these tips and tricks just ruin the game.

Same here. Played just fine yesterday, but now I can't join any servers at all.

When it comes to the colour-issue, try to run the game in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3, and disable desktop composition in the properties of the shortcut. This has fixed the issue for many (atleast with single monitor setups).

Both diablo 1 and 2 run just fine in fullscreen, but it does get a bit pixelated. Why have it windowed? Anyways, there are highres mods for Diablo 2 out there that works pretty damn good if you're not going to play it online, that is. :P "D2MultiRES" is the mod I've been using. I know this doesn't answer your question, but it's a nice alternative. B)
