People are welcome to tag along with a few of my friends sometime. I started around June, so I've played a fair amount since then, 2 friends got it in June/August and we have a guy who got it a few weeks ago.

I suppose less guns/ammo could work, but it's fine the way it is in my mind, to be honest. Cars, I don't think there should be less, if anything, more. For the amount of Zombies in an estate area, a lot of the people clearly didn't have cars or just burnt them out. I like the way cars are, it seems like there could be more though, while still being realistic. I understand your ideas and I'm not completely dismissing them, but play DayZ for a while, look into what you do a little more. I've gone hours without many guns and when I started playing, it was weeks before I saw my first car, long before I got to drive one. I respect what you say though, nothing crazy.

Looking for a durable whitelisted server

I've liked the Billy Mays Remembrance Foundation's (BMRF) servers. There's a whitelist, so that's usually a turn off for hackers and there's commonly an Admin on, if not they are easily request-able on the forums. They've also got few lag issues and a good community. Try them out :) http://www.BMRF.me/ -

No, it's not fair, and it's not allowed. The admin obviously seems bias and combat logging also isn't allowed. Shouldn't have happened, so report for admin abuse, I'm sorry, I don't believe there's anything more you can do. In the meantime, find a good server, this game has its problems, but when you look past them, it's beautiful, and there's no other like it. -
COMBINED OPERATIONS DOESN'T SHOW UP????

Try downloading DayZCommander. It's a launcher and installer for the game. It makes it very manageable and easy to use. Set that up and you won't even need to launch through Steam. There's lots of tutorials out there, it should be straight forward but reply if you're having a problem that's unmentioned, I'll try to help :) -
Personally, I like how there is no end. The fact that it seems like a life simulation is good, as the goal is to survive. Survival in other games seems useless, but since this is one that plonks you into a particular situation where survival is everything, it seems more of an unreachable goal. There is no end. You live the goal, because the goal is to live.

Play for gear too long and you can't escape that feeling. Start over, do it how you want. Give gear away or delete it all so nobody else can get it, it's all up to you, but start again. Play for experience. With playing for experience comes gear, don't neglect gear. Have fun by playing for experience. It's a much better game :) Good luck! -

The thing is, it had no main storyline to it, and the FPS could be improved. Try slowing the gameplay down whilst you capture, then speed up to normal in editing.

With the same card, I went from 20FPS on Normal to 50-60 on Very high by changing my processor from Dual 2.7GHz to Quad 3.2GHz. Processor needs upgrading for good gameplay, graphics card would help a lot too though. I had a 560Ti throughout.

Get confirmation, but I'm almost sure Rocket said he wanted them to run indoors also, that it started off as them walking and he just left it that way currently, I think they're meant to change at some point though. Personally, it's not something that makes sense, but I like it in gameplay. We'll see how it goes down, maybe a lot of people are attached to this way. -

I'm going to say Processor too, 8GB RAM is more than enough. Definitely go for a quad core soon! I played with Dual core for about 6 months, 30fps was unheard of for me. Got a quad core 3450 @3.2GHz, I now run 50-60 fps on Very high, even with a 560Ti. I'd say an i5, 3540 (3.4GHz?) or 3570k (up to, maybe above 4GHz) for overclocking. -
Default is hold down 'Caps Lock'. You'll need to be in direct communication by pressing , and . Until it appears in the bottom left. For reference, you can also double tap Caps Lock to leave talk on until you press again to turn off. ArmA will use the microphone selected as Default, I can add info on how to do this if needed.
