    The system requirments can vary, people with high end systems can't even run it because the game is not fully optimized yet untill the stand alone which is coming very soon.

    You need to buy Arma 2: Combined operations then download the mod 'DayZ'. Easy and simple, but check you have the requirements :)

    DayZ is not fully optimised untill the stand alone. People with the top of the end gaming PC's lag. Certain places are not optimised, so it's perfectly normal.
