Hello all, and welcome to the Aldeon Gaming Community. What is our goal? To make a fun and well monitored environment for DayZ players. The server is always kept under tabs, whether it be for new DayZ updates, or keeping away the hackers of the DayZ community, we are always there constantly working on the server. We hope to create an experience that all DayZ players will enjoy. Be respectful towards all players. Do not talk in side chat, or you will be kicked from the server. Avoid using cuss words, especially directed to other players. Do not spam with text chat. Do not use any outside mods, or hacks. (Obviously.) Enjoy your time on the Aldeon DayZ Server! Broken Server Rules Gather evidence of the player being reported. (Take screenshots, make not of the time of day, etc.) Upload the screenshots to any photo sharing website and keep the links. Provide a brief summary of what had happened during the situation. Make a post under the disputes section with all of these components inside of it. The community will give their opinion and a verdict will be given by an administrator. Consequences Consequences may vary. Depending on the offense, you could be banned for an hour, or even banned permanently. If it was simply a warning, you would likely get kicked. But please follow all of the rules to make everybody's life easier. If you are found breaking the rules, you may make an appeal under the disputes section.

Here is a list of the things that I have previously tried: Anything to do with the whole "Run>Regedit" thing. Every time I try and delete the ArmA 2 OA folder, it says that I do not have permission to do it. I have tried running CMD as administrator and then deleting the file, but it won't work. I have also tried changing the permissions for the folder. That didn't work either. I am an administrator on my computer as well. I have deleted all the files in my steam folder except "steamapps" and "steam.exe" which did not work. I have tried running steam as administrator, right clicking on ArmA 2 OA>Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity of Game Cache. This has not worked. I have contacted the people to see if I can get a new serial key, as suggested in one of the stickied threads in this subforum. They have yet to respond to me. Please do help. Well, I am an admin on a server at the moment, and my friend found a huey on the server. He eventually crashed it. After this, it would not allow him to re-join the server. It kept on kicking him. Any resolutions? I currently am using TCMyAdmin with HFB Servers as a host. I am using DarT as an Rcon tool to administrate the server. Thank's in advance, - Stealth

Also, your BE GUID isn't a "private" thing. All server admins can see it.

I changed the permissions for the files for ArmA 2 OA under Regedit, such that "Everyone" could modify the files. Delete the two files, then launch ArmA 2 OA. After that, launch DayZ.

Sorry, this doesn't seem to work for me. I launched Steam as an administrator, and ran Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead, but it still gave me the same "Bad Serial Number Given in Setup" error. Nevermind! I found another solution. Thank you for the help.
