Yes I did. Luckily the ticket wasn't about an outage so my server was still working but if it had been an outage, I would have gone a day and a half without a server. I've been running servers for various games for 14 years now and I know the warning signs when I see them. Once I got an answer, their response was that they had a support person out sick and that caused the delay. One person out causes them not to answer a ticket for over 30 hours? That's bad.

Just an update. I moved to GTX. They actually have live support and a Discord server. Fragnet responded finally. They blame one sick employee on the 30+ hour delay.

Villayer has good prices, but it seems they have 1 support tech plus their "management". A number of my tickets couldn't be handled by the 1 guy that always replied to my tickets. He frequently had to assign it to the "management team" to take care of.

I left Vilayer because of their response times. Fragnet was a little more expensive, but I switched to them anyway because I've used them in the past and I have a Minecraft server with them that my son uses. I just checked Gaming Deluxe and they're even MORE expensive, $45 for a 30 slot server... Funny thing I found out when I switched from Vilayer, is that they must be using a loot table other than the current one because I started finding items on my new server with Fragnet that I never saw before. Anyway, I'm on about 25 or 26 hours now since I submitted a ticket about something with no response. Too bad it seems they don't really monitor their Twitter page and they have no live support. @Fragnet I'm talking to you!

Where did a vehicle come from in 0.63 experimental!?

Does anyone know what file I adjust and what settings I adjust in that file to increase or decrease the number of zombies, their strength and speed? This is for 0.63 experimental.

The settings in the pbo are different from what is in the events.xml. For example, the events.xml has the maximum and minimum zombies for that particular type and the pbo has the max and min for each zombie position. So I don't know what to think. Do I raise the min and max for each zombie position, do I raise the max and min for each type, or do I do both?

My plan is to keep my server as close to vanilla as possible. I don't want to use any crazy mods. I'll be looking to increase the zedz and make other changes that will make it more challenging. I hate high loot, spawn with a gun type servers.

Is this method better than messing with the pbo, as previously described?

Ok, I looked at that file and what that contains is positions for zombies to spawn, along with the min/max to spawn. What I'd like is a way to globally increase the zombie count and toughness but I guess that isn't doable right now?

I read on Twitter that an update to the experimental version was coming out today with a database wipe. Does anyone know if this affects servers hosted by GSP's where we have access to the files or is it only on the official servers?

Is there a source that tells what is being updated and why the wipe is needed on the official servers? Should I have my server updated and also wipe the database?

In DayZ mod you could edit a config file that would allow you to control which chat channels could be used. Is that possible in DayZ SA?

Well, they've released the server files, allowing admins to create "HIGH L00T!!! OMFG" servers so letting server admins to decide which chat channels are available should be an option.

If you aren't using DayZ SA Launcher, chances are your name will be Survivor.... changing your name in-game doesn't seem to make a difference so for your name to change, you need a command line/launcher. You'd be kicking a LOT of players.

I apologize if this has been discussed. I searched for "Stary spawn" and found no topics. I recently rented a DayZ server 0.63 and every time anyone dies, they respawn in Stary. Is this a bug? Is there something wrong with my server? Is this being done for the current experimental build for a reason?

It turns out that the cfgplayerspawnpoints.xml that comes with the 0.63 experimental server files is set up to spawn everyone in Stary. I modified that file, commenting out the Stary spawns and enabling the default spawns and it's working fine now.

Missing Items, and zombies in Experimental version server.

You have to remember that 0.63 is not the current stable version. Lots of things are being added and removed, not available in experimental... once 0.63 goes stable, it'll have everything it's supposed to have. -
I was killed more today from other players than I have ever been killed in DayZ (Stand alone or mod) before. Hell, I was killed by a guy with a water bottle while I had a machete. It's a madhouse I tell ya!
