People shoot me on sight everytime, even if I have only a hatchet. Only completely unarmed players don't kill me. That's why i tend shoot everyone who is close to me. Sorry, I have died too many times in a too short period of time to be friendly.

Surely there are friendly players like you, but statistically there is about 90% (?) chance that the person you see is hostile and it's safest just to kill him on sight. And that's why violence creates more violence :P

I am new to this game, I bought it 2 days ago. I had been thinking that the biggest danger would be bandits. Now, when I actually can play this mod, I've discovered a sad thruth - that every other player is hostile. It's very hard to survive. I need to stay away from players all the time and run around the map alone, which is quite boring.

Well, I can play a not finished game, you know :) For me earlier release is better.

Yep. Saying that DayZ will be availavble on Steam (for example) at 6th January would be an economic suicide for BI. I just hope this example will come true. I'm not a patient person, but still I'm not going to buy Combined Operations - SA can come out any day. But if they announce AFTER the sale ends, that DayZ is delayed by another month , I will be mad. Some info plox now.

k3lt just literally wrote down what a lot of people think about the current situation, but they stay quiet, because they are afraid of being called childish by all those "Rocket defenders" here. There should really really be an update. December deadline was not met? Fine, but tell us what is the new deadline or how's the development going. Hi BTW, I'm new here.
