I'll keep adding links to this, I've followed these guides and get 40-50 fps regularly. I have an i7 overclocked to 4.09 and two 760s in SLI. Though DayZ isn't set up to use SLI currently as far as I understand. It's really really fun now as far as I'm concerned. It's challenging. You have to head as far west as quickly as you can. Search only buildings with their doors closed. Drink from a well until hydrated and as soon as you find that one looked over can of food, eat it and sprint far far west. The towns out there that aren't near military areas will be oases. Good luck man, enjoy it, it's supposed to be hard.

Last night 10-11pm Eastern Standard Time. When the experimental server restarted two of my friends that had been on the server when the "session lost" message appeared, both received broken legs when they logged back in. I had randomly logged out just a few minutes before the restart and my character was fine when I logged in at the same time as them. We were all three waiting as the server came back online and entered the game at the same moment. We were all within twenty meters of each other. Is this a known bug in experimental? I didn't see it in the list of known issues. Did anyone else notice this? We were playing on one of the regular experimental servers when it happened. I would really appreciate any feedback on this. We were curious if everyone on the server that was logged in when the session was lost, had broken legs or injuries when they logged back in. Thanks!

There are hundreds of different over under style guns. The most common in the US are shotguns that take the same caliber in both barrels.

Sorry for the double post. Just to be clear the "hunting rifle" doesn't have a description in game yet but it does take the same ammo as the mosin. That's why I figured the 762 speedloader would be for it as it only holds two rounds.

762 Speedloader is for the over under hunting rifle I just found. Nice intricate metal work, pretty sweet. I had seen a picture of it a while back before standalone came out but I didn't expect it to be added on this patch. Haven't seen the 22 yet.

Have you tried deleting and completely re-installing the game. I haven't had this happen but if it does this would be my first step.

I think you've run into a bug I reported this morning. It is not only ammo containers. I've lost weapons (357) and other items and in fact the items in my back pack are rearranged every time I log out and back in. I really hope that no one is offended by my anti Family Guy rant above. I love what Vector_bunny is doing! But these kids that he ran into on this video are idiots and I wanted to give them a hard time with my tirade. They even tapes bits post cliffhanger and posted them on youtube. Unfortunately it's your CPU. I am almost 100% certain of this as most BIS games are very CPU heavy. It drives me crazy because I just installed two GTX 760s and run them in SLI but it is currently lost on DayZ. Rocket has stated that they will be offloading features of DayZ onto the GPU in future updates but those are WAY down the road as client side stuff is going to be done last. Sorry man, I know. EDIT: I should note that just like GrimeyRick. I have tested this and my FPS is dramatically (like 50% more) due to my overclock which is 2.8 to 4.09. It's the same for me in ArmaIII

The only time I've died from a "glitch" is when I logged off of one server within a zombie spawn area. When I logged into another server, I was experiencing desync and a zombie killed me before I had a chance to sync up. I wouldn't really call that a glitch though. It was more like poor planning on my part. Shouldn't log out in unsafe locations. Also, you won't die from falling in the current build. You can jump off of anything and it won't kill you.

I'd like to add to Streets post by suggesting that people purchase and play another early access game, they are fairly cheap investments. I realized this week that every game I've been playing is early access: Kerbal, Project Zomboid, etc. So, I'm keeping up with the development of several games at the same time. And honestly, so far, DayZ's development team is blowing those out of the water. I guess that's why I'm so baffled by all the bitching.

No it's different. You reported body re-positioning upon log out / log in and I reported items disappearing and rearranging themselves within the back pack upon log out / log in.

You realize there is a bug tracker to report issues like this correct? In fact, it's been reported there twice this morning. Sorry but when you post things like this here it sounds like a rude command. There is a place to report bugs, do it there. No offense man. Just report it and post the link to the bug here so people can go upvote it :)
