I'm sorry man but this simply isn't correct. When I bought the game there was nothing like this posted on steam. Also, steam no longer sells ARMA 2 by itself.A

1. Crazy screen tearing and weirdness around placed barbed wire. It seems to be noticeable for two hundred meters or so. 2. Tents maintain items after server restart. Place M107 in tent, wait for restart, take M107 out of tent, wait for restart, take M107 out of tent, wait for restart, take M107 out of tent, get the picture? Also, for those who aren't getting my sarcasm. It works with every item. I've got four tents "duping" my full character loadout on my server. The good news is I no longer fear death. HAHA. The bad news is, the game is broken.

Also, guys. There's no need to attack everyone who makes a post that isn't in lock step with DayZ / Bohemia. It makes you look unprofessional. I was only mentioning this here because it was talking about the current sale. I wanted other customers to be informed when they start buying. How about a little understanding here. You're so quick to stick a sock in my mouth that it took me seven replies just to get to the ACTUAL issue.

Yes, I did complain to steam. They explained it as a redundancy and said someone would get back to me about a refund. It never happened.

Thank You! Finally someone who understands my issue. Steam has since corrected the problem. My question is, why would a company like Bohemia let such an obvious redundancy go on. They were punishing their fanbase.

Jesus christ people! Steam was selling the same product at two separate costs!! Buy Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead for $40 or Combined Operations for $30. If I was selling a product this way and someone approached my counter with the first two items, I would simply say, you know you can get these combined for cheaper. Is that such a ludicrous complaint???

Sorry it was my understanding that Operation Arrowhead was an expansion for ARMA 2. I didn't realize it was a standalone game that would run independent of ARMA 2. I stand corrected in that case.

Who would want ARMA 2 without operation arrowhead?

What I'm getting at is when I bought the game it should have only been listed as Combined Operations or Operation Arrowhead. No need to gouge unsuspecting buyers into paying for both separately in one transaction. Or offer it when you see them place both in their cart. It's called customer service.

Well then why offer ARMA 2 by itself?

My question is why did they continue to offer the two separate items at the higher cost? Smells like bullshit. And yes, I'm upset about twelve dollars.

Nope, they spawn in relation to the player. I've watched them appear. They don't spawn in woods, but will spawn in open fields in the wilderness.

I feel raped by steam and bohemia. I bought the game in late November. They still had ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead listed as separate purchases. I bought both, then realized seconds later that I could have saved 12 dollars by purchasing combined operations. Why would they do this? I know it's my fault for not doing my research but it seems shady as hell. Also, when is the game coming??? I'm getting annoyed. I feel like I'm being jerked around. Are they trying to get all of us to buy ARMA 3? I'm not buying shit from Bohemia until the standalone comes out.

So basically this means never ending gear. Is anyone going to address this?

They would really just be permanent server side "tents". This is a great idea!

So,I just read through the 1.7.6 update and I'm really glad to see all of the variety that's coming into the mod as far as food items are concerned. But what about Twinkies or some non hostess name like Little Betty's Yellow Creams? It would be a great nod to Zombieland and also timely due to the collapse of Hostess. Just a thought. What other foods do people want to see?

This is a great idea. What about uncontrollable outburst of shouting or noises similar to schizophrenia. Obviously the noises would draw both zeds and other players. Perhaps at low enough levels the player would lose control of the avatar for a bit. Yeah, great idea!

Most of the names weren't that bad, but your input on this controversy is invalid at this point. Obviously you think the can names are fine. The food names should be fictional names. It's not like every fictional piece of literature/movie/game/book hasn't faced this same issue when it comes to "renaming" a product due to copyright or licensing issues. Perfect example would be the Burger Shot fast food chain in GTA. Just ask your self why did they not name this after a developer? It really is purely based on taste. The next step is a bit of research that should lead to the correct decision. 1. There is a large "screen tear" coming from the corner of the docs in the industrial area of berenzino. Is this just on the server where I play, has anyone else noticed it? It definitely showed up after 1.7.6. 2. Zeds now spawn around me when I'm in the far north away from any buildings or vehicles. I like it, but is this normal?

Also, and I'm really not on one side or another here, I think like all debates it has a lot of angles, but most of the people on my server were talking about "how stupid the F'n names were" but we aren't going to update to 1.7.6.1 simply because it is a pain in the backside.

I don't understand what was funny about the new names. A funny name would be something like Fat Ass Cola not mZLY yZLY or whatever.
