Ha! Yeah, I guess this one's a little close to home for me. Cornfields are awesome. They used to tell us these horror stories as when I was young. They would tell us about kids that went into corn fields and got lost and died of thirst. We had a ball out there.

Today's corn crop, the one you see growing in rows, would die out after one season. I wouldn't mind having corn fields but it would break the immersion quite a bit. Unless, the setting is first year after outbreak.

I'm having fun with KSP .22 for the moment. I uninstalled all my mods and am doing a clean run at career mode. I've played that game for 130 hours. I say that's a deal at 22 dollars. Highly recommend it to anyone needing a cheap game while waiting for DayZ SA.

Holy hell, I never get on here on weekends but decided to see if there was any word on release date. What happened people? It seems the only people left on this forum are the idiots. That's right. As far as locking the account by creating a new one. They should just respawn the item if the accounts inactive in any way. But yes, I presume that actual murders will take place over this. Or, people will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for the golden soap. (facetious) EDIT: I so wish The Onion would take this and run with it.

I would tend to agree except for the fact that the complete lack of communication has caused the forums to become more lively over the past week. I hope people aren't misinterpreting the silence as a guarantee that release is going to be really soon. I don't know if it will release soon or not but it would be nice to hear something from those in charge of the development. I think it would help the customer base set their expectations.

The original argument was that if they release stand alone without zombies, even if temporarily, it would give new players a bad impression of the game due to the amount of PVP that a lack of zombies would cause. So, in an earnest effort of trying to get this thread back on topic, I've basically shown how DayZ without zombies is Wasteland. I've literally played Wasteland servers that ARE EXACTLY DayZ without zombies. There are as many different types of Wasteland as there are types of DayZ at this point. Hell, I've played DayZ servers that didn't include zeds for whatever reason. I don't necessarily have an opinion on the subject. I would rather they don't release the game than release it without zombies. I personally feel like the entire conversion, like so many of his conversations, is nothing more than Wayze trolling and trying to get his post count up, but I digress.
