We are running DayzTaviana 2.0, but it's not a default server. Yesterday evening we have added some extra scripts and features, i will list everything we have now: Always dayAlmost 800 vehicle spawns, we have completely reworked the spawns so no single default spawn.Tow & lift script, but restricted. You need a heavy vehicle to tow a lighter vehicle and you can only tow 1 vehicle.Self bloodbag with 10% of getting infectedLots of heli crashes, carepackages, truck and humvee crashes. We have written this script by ourselves and do not use the scripts all other servers are using. This way we can better manage what weapons spawn and this way have a better balance. Also all the crashes spawn randomly across the 2 island, so not just on the mountains, everywhere!Random player spawn locations. You spawn randomly next to the water on both islands and yes this is completely random. Small chance of getting spawn raped.Remove vehicle parts so you can use the parts to repair another vehicleExtra barracks and other buildings across the mapCustom written admin panel. Our admins do not have a map, cannot edit inventories (just view), cannot teleport. All the actions they can do (kick, warn, ban, comment on a player) are logged so every admin can see what other admins have done. This is to prevent admin abuse and if it happens, we can spot it and deal with the admin.Active and supportive admins!And last but not least we have a anti backpack dupe script to prevent people duping by using the backpack bug. This one is also self written and does work!We spent a lot of time to make the server the best Taviana server (focussed on PvP) around. We have been around for a while now and always had a full server (almost 2 full servers) unfortunately at the moment Taviana EU version stopped support, our Vilayer servers stopped working to. Vilayer unfortunately never responded to our support ticket and never solved the problem. So we jumped to hosting the server ourselves and that entire ordeal caused us to lose a big part of our players. I really do hope you all drop by and play on our server and enjoy "the PvP, the scavenging and the surviving" fun DayZ mod and our additions brings us. I'm looking forward to not trust you guys ingame and getting backstapped ;-) Greets, Ewoot

Hi, I haven't been able to find the answer yet or the answer i am looking for. So I'm hoping someone can help me. I part of the UnitedGamers.eu community and we already have Dayz Mod (tavian and epoch) servers running and we are hosting these ourselfs. So i was wondering if it is possible to host a standalone dedicated server on my own server. My server has enough CPU power, RAM and HDD to make it happen, but can't find anywhere how to do this. In Dayz Mod you could request a server ID and mission file to host your own server that is part of the main hyve. Anyone know more about this for the standalone? I would love to setup a dedicated server to support the cause, but dont want to pay 55 euro extra per month to do so when I already have the hardware in place to do it by myself. Thanks, Ewoot

Hi all, My name is Ewoot and i'm part of the community United Gamers (www.unitedgamers.eu). We are a European focussed Dayz community (everyone and all games are welcome) with our root in the Netherlands. We also have two Dayz Taviana .com server, each 50 slots and linked to the same private hyve. My opinion offcourse is that these are the best Taviana servers available. We have 750 vehicle spawn all placed on custom locations, so not the default locatios. Random spawn locations (on the two islands, near water). Custom helicrashes, with a better loot system for balanced loot spawn, same for the care packages, truck crashes, APC crashes. We are totally a PvP server, so always good fun. Oh yeah, 3 hour server restarts, every day @ 7 PM UTC+1 the all damages vehicles will respawn and every friday @ 7 PM UTC+1 there is a full vehicle reset. You start with minimum gear, but with map and toolbox. With the toolbox you can remove parts from other vehicles and with those parts you can repair you own vehicle. So lots of movement on the server ;-) Also we spent a lot of time to create a custom webbased admin panel where the admin have just enough rights to admin the server, but not abuse it. The admins have no map (apart from the head admin that uses TSW Anti hack). All admin actions are logged, so other admins will notice abuse by other admins. Also before i forget to mention it, we synchronize player statistic to our website after every server restart (every 3 hours). You can see your total (all character combined) murders, bandit kill, deaths, zombie kills, etc. I would like to invite you to come around on our servers and have some pvp fun. I think more and more people are getting this problem or don't even know they have this problem. I've seen complaints regarding this bug since half december. But no fix from the dev-team. At least all new server have this issue and more and more existing server are having this issue, so i hope there will be a hotfix soon -

Same problems here. Rented two fresh new server, placed several tents on several locations on normal flat ground with no trees near. After restart tents are gone. Has to do with the 1.7.4.4 version. Tried different versions of arma2 build, that didn't work. I can acces the HiveExt.log and read it, the tents are stored in the hyve database i can see entries like 2013-01-02 14:28:21 : [information] Result: ["OBJ","6096302","TentStorage"....... The hive does give the information along to the server, but the server (running 1.7.4.4) doesn't spawn them. Major bug in 1.7.4.4 IMHO -
