When you say zombie to most people they think of the classic walking zombie. The only definition that matters is the one most people use. Just like if most people use a word thats not in the dictionary it becomes a real word and is eventually added.

Just lazy classification, doesn't make super people with a cold a zombie. The definition of zombie is clearly not set in some peoples minds, but this game is without a doubt sold and presented as a zombie game. This is like what happened to resident evil, sure everyone liked it at first when it changed from zombie to crazy people. But it ruined the franchise. It destroyed something special.

Yes and it was a shit movie, I thought it was boring. If you ask most peop-le what dayz is about, they will say zombies. Not a few super fast running people with a virus. Also what is this thread called? ZOMBIE feedback. This game is sold on the idea of zombies, changing that is cheating the players that paid money for A CLEAR ZOMBIE GAME.

I agree. The threat of zombies should be numbers, and your stamina. You can only run so far, where as the zombies will constantly march towards you. Meaning if you don't plan it right you are going to be forced to barricade <<<(remember dynamic base building) yourself in a small house in town. Attacking the zombies thu the windows, or waiting for them to leave, maybe jumping out the back window of the house, climbing onto the roof of the building, making ramps to others buildings to get away from the swarm of zombies crowded around and clawing at the old house you ran into. These are the kind of experience you are robbing yourselves of and me. The gamne will be NOTHING like that with these fast zombies. Please if you agree repost or give your own opinion. There are too many people that like this and don't see the fualt with it. Just because they are bored of the beta... this is wrong.. If any of the designers of the game are reading, please, don't base your opinion on the masses. You can't do that. You need to stick to your own design plan, not ask the player base, as you may know most of them are close to being zombies themselfs.. If this is the way you wanted it to go from the start, fine. It IS your choice after all not ours, but dayz is not the game for me if it's true. Don't give in to peer pressure, that will destroy the game.

Because of the fact is was a mod, thats why. It was using arma's enemy coding, thats why they zigzag to avoid getting shot. I ALWAYS thought the intention was to make them better than that. And zombies are not sprinters. walkers, joggers, some runners maybe, not all sprinters. ARE WE IN FUCKING JAMAICA?! This whole enraged people thing, thats not a zombie, thats just crazy people. It pisses me off because I came into this expecting zombies. Not crazy people. What does the Z stand for? Zimbabwe?

The game needs to be harder yeah, but not like this. This is a cheap way to do it. More zombies are the way to go. not less. And this is less, you won't get 1000's of sprinting zombies. But you could do 1000's of walking ones.

This is not a zombie, its retarded. If this is how dayz is making zombies harder then it's dead to me. Zombies don't sprint. The zombies movies with sprinting zombies are the most ridiculous retarded shit movies. and now this game. It's turning into left for dead, or serious sam. Not bad games, but ridiculous. This is not what I got the game for. There is no atmosphere, either there are no zombies, or they are sprinting at you. Thats not suspenseful, doesn't seem like you're surviving tucked away in a ruined town creeping around finding supply's trying to avoid the ROTTING CORPSES walking around. Now you just go to town kill the zombies that sprint at you and it's over. What kind of lame experience is this? What happened to us having stamina? What happened to the horror? I know it was weak before but I thought it was getting there with the classic slow zombie walking animations. And now they are back to the old mod version of runners. This is bullshit. You might like it because it's new about now they are harder, thats true, but this is going the wrong way, this is not how dayz should be. Dayz should be 1000's of zombies, and the danger is from their numbers. you can't run forever. thats where there difficulty comes from. Going in this direction I promise you there will never be loads of zombies, it's will just be sparse, with fue zombies that run at you. This is the wrong direction to take the game in. I know I'll get hate from people here, but you'll be building your own lame game. Just another shooter with no style, flare, soul. It will be shallow. I guarantee it. Just look at all the other games that increase enemy difficulty by adding health or damage or bullshit ability's to the enemy's. Soul less. shallow. Go on, flame me, ruin the game.

Yeah heart attacks are a retarded idea, it will just be annoying, not like wow cool. It will just piss people off. It's meant to be fun.

Thing is I don't play it anymore, there's nothing to do. Run around for hours finding random gear, then what? Thats it. The mod years ago was better than that. I don't see anything good here. I understand they might be making things work better, but when you look at the updates it's like nothing has changed.

Still no reason to play the game, and most of this is not new. I've seen the same stuff in about 3 updates. I know you're doing work, but it seems like nothings been added at all.

I play games to do things I can't in real life. Like playing with girls.

The only thing that really helped me was setting dayz's affinity to 2 possessors rather than all four. I still only get 13/25 fps tho.

Also like to add I've only seen rain once since playing from launch. And it only lasted one min and was very light. It needs to rain more. A lot more.

I would recommend still using the mouse, and using the controller for movement inventory etc. I do that for all games, much more comfortable than using a keyboard, less buttons tho. In the options disable the premade controller setting, and map it yourself. I move with the xbox joystick and aim with mouse for example.

Once stamina is put in the game you won't be able to run from them all.
