Ok, after some further bugtesting it seems the gear bug is caused by the server i was playing at. I'll just avoid that server (DE 850) for now. It's also marked as "unofficial" now (I'm 100% sure it wasn't before)

I'm scared BECAUSE of that. It practically means permadeath by logging out ...

On a scale from 1 to 10 - how buggy is this game? First of all, the "permanent" gender selection ... I can change my gender everytime I die. On official servers (I filtered the inofficial servers in dayz commander). I don't really care about the gender, but ... Where is my gear?! I logged in just to find out my complete gear is gone. It's the same server I logged off a couple of hours ago. It's not really "valuable" stuff (I'm just playing since yesterday), but this accident kinda scares me from playing dayz anymore. My gear is reset to standard survivor stuff, though my blood level is the same as before. Are these bugs common?

Wow, thanks! It's even cheaper here (10,50€)! I wanted to wait until SA is out, but I just couldn't resist right now :-)
