  3. Yep, lots of lag. It's too dangerous to go anywhere, because you can't really see people until they glitch right up to you :(
  4. The server doesn't seem to respond. We're all stuck at loading. :o Maybe because everyone tries to connect at the same time, don't know.

  6. 1.7.1.1. works now, but the server is still laggy as hell. Nearly unplayable.

  8. Please update to 1.7.1.1. It still says, you're running 1.7.1. Also, please restart or something. We're all not getting more than 9 fps.

    How to realistically simulate death

    I think, this idea sucks really really hard. Here's another one: Every time, a player dies in game, someone visits him and shoots him, so he can get the ultra realistic hardcore first hand experience of death....

    Infected can 'smell' low humanity...

    This would be a subtle incentive to not play bandit. This could make up for the removed bandit skins. Why not give it a try. If it doesn't work, it could be removed again. I don't really care if it is realistic or not. There is enough stuff in this game that isn't realistic. And rocket is right, it's not about realism, it's about authenticity. Sure, bandits might stay outside towns and snipe those in them, but then again, that's what they are doing already anyways. With this, you could still choose to play as bandit, but it would give you something to take into consideration also.

    A clan mate was losing 3 blood every few seconds, too. Bandaging didn't stop it. It only stopped when he eventually died. Sad but true. Good luck to you.
  12. NO It really only adds frustration. Maybe lower the starting mag size, but not being able to defend yourself will make it incredibly hard at the beginning. The already steep learning curve in this game would become even steeper, but only for those who just spawned while those, being alive longer, only benefit from this. I imagine players hunting newbs, running around them and killing them, because they can't defend themselves. Maybe once banditry will carry some disadvantage and become less of a problem, this might work. Then you could have suvrivors helping out the newly spawned at the beach. But right now, with THIS amount of pvp, I don't think it would be reasonable to include this feature.
  13. This idea has 'some' merit, even though, I'd rather see other features first. Running a power plant would be probably the least thing I'd go for. However, as long as night time darkness and especially gamma "using" aren't fixed, there is really no need for electricity. HDR and Gamma on max and I can see well enough.

    Noticeably lower FPS on 1.6.0

    Not directly related to the new patch, but I had fps issues before that too. Once, while I was in a church, killing the infected, I noticed, it might also have something to do with the zombie models or something. The more dead infected there were, the lower the fps, it seemed to me. That's kinda weird. The dead infected should not really cause such massive fps decrease, should they? Might also just have been a coincidence. I get horrible fps all the time too. Couldn't confirm it after the patch yet, as I didn't yet have the chance to play it.
  18. Hmmm, difficult topic. But quite relevant. This problem needs to be adressed, one way or another. It can not go on like this. The game is much more atmospheric at dark night. However, it is also kind of annoying, which is why I increased gamma. Now I can see quite well, but light is no longer a concern. Flares and chemlights are pretty much useless now. I got no solution for this problem :(

    Player run towns?

    I'd love the idea of capturing towns. However, I DO NOT WANT to see NPCs added. Where would they come from? They would have to be rather static and all immersion would be gone. Besides that, this thread has some really good ideas in it. Hope to see it being added some day in the distant future :D

    What Doktor said. However, I agree, that the watch is more or less usless right now. Imho it could be dropped completely. Still, I wouldn't want to force some use on it by adding rush hours...

    Store the flashlight

    Which is kinda ridiculous, considering, how small a flash light is. It should not need that much space in the backpack. Because of this, I don't even bother picking them up. Also, using them tends to get you killed quite quickly.

    I agree. Right now, I am walking around with 3 water bottles, but I hardly ever need them. I too would like there to be more hunting. Which requires more animals. Reduce (don't completely lose them) the food spawns but increase the animal spawns a little, maybe making meat only restore 300-500 blood or so. However, priority on this is kinda low :)
