I'm not sure what's with the... enthusiastic... responses from some people. This would barely even qualify as fanfiction -- it's zombie/survival-themed amateur fiction based in Chernarus. Given that anyone on these boards is already playing out their own little personal story (no matter how little they might flesh it out in their heads) in that exact same fictional location, I don't really see what cause there is for the sentiment. There are no NPCs, no backstory... none of the things that stereotypically-bad fanfiction butchers in order to, well, be classified as stereotypically-bad fanfiction. What do they teach kids in schools these days? The imagination is a dying thing. Either way, a fiction board would be nice. The game breeds stories, and chances are that stories posted on 4chan, Reddit, or viewed through a Youtube channel are the only reason nearly anyone is playing this game to begin with.

You do know that a magazine is not simply a magazine by virtue of the fact that it can be reloaded, right? Dropping an empty magazine on the ground does not make it a stripper clip, and reloading an emptied stripper clip does not make it a magazine. I'm not sure why you'd think or posit otherwise, but it's certainly not more accurate -- it's just incorrect.

It's odd that people don't also refer to trucks, tractors, and buses as cars. Wonder why that is.

I'm also unable to use the flashlight, for some reason. It will not work on the G17, M4A3 CCO, or the 870. 'L' apparently does nothing at any time of the day, including complete darkness, and changing the keybinding meets with similar results. Frustrating.
